Cafe Rouge - Menu

Had a beautiful afternoon tea yesterday, served by Lyndsey who is a credit to cafe rouge, she made sure we were well looked after and was brilliant with our little one. Highly recommend trying their afternoon tea!

Visited for lunch on Monday on arrival and called for breakfast on Friday was served by same lovely lady called Linda both times who remembered us I note previous recent poor reviews but it wasn't our experience food was fine

We have tried dinner at most of the restaurants available at Center Parks Sherwood, and the food at Café Rouge was definitely the standout! Our server, Yasser, was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be dining here again.

We had a decent dinner the night before and were looking forward to the croque monsieur, which sounded good on the menu. However, what arrived was not as described, rather than sour dough it was literally white sandwich bread and resembled more a pre-bought microwave toasted sandwich than the classic French snack.

It was a special birthday meal and supposed to be the highlight of our stay at Center Parcs. 50 minutes we waited for our meal (which arrived complete with a hair on it) and our daughter wasnt even with us, she’s autistic and couldnt stand the wait or noise any longer. They did compensate us, but we will definitely not be returning. #Youreonly21once

It was a delight to visit a restaurant that offers a relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food! Our server Stephanie was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The food was served quickly, was incredibly flavorful, and reasonably priced. It would be nice to see more dessert options, but it was a bonus that they offer tasty vegan choices.

We were a family of 3, the restaurant was virtually empty (even with covid restrictions! . Our food was ordered and then delivered wrong! Brought correct order, food very mediocre.. Then the waitress brought another tables desserts and drinks, which we had to say were not ours again.The cleanliness was poor, and surely could not have been up to normal standards let alone current covid cleanliness. The toilets were filthy.Please don’t waste your money.

We did not have high expectations due to the problems for Cafe Rouge but were pleasantly surprised.They clearly have problems eg NO chicken amazing !!Staff very pleasant but not too organised. They are concerned about their situation.Some confusion re Cofid precautions.We were sat outside at a table for 7 basically by ourselves so it was fine.However the food and drink we had was excellent.The children had kids garlic bread,plaice goujons, mac cheese, a drink and ice cream which was good.Adults the tasty whitebait and king prawns followed by excellent duck confit and a poulet breton.Very good aperol spritz and beers to start and a nice bottle of cote du rhone and viognier.

We ate here on our first day at Center Parcs and were really looking forward to it, what a disappointment, would have been better off with toast back at the lodge. The staff were very disinterested, not once were we asked how our food was, probably because they knew what we would say. When main courses came we had no cutlery so my 3 year old granddaughter got up and took some from the next table. If I was working there I would have been horrified at this and would have immediately replenished the cutlery, not here, not even an acknowledgement or apology at being so slack.
