"We live in Paris and decided to give it a try on a friend's recommendation. We ordered the lunch menu which gives you an option of entree and then a set main. I had the potato cappuccino with ragú for the entree. The main dish was an eel and fish tagliatelle. The plat was fine..simplified it was basically a potato soup with meat sauce on it served in a coffee cup. The main was the real problem....the set menu that day was a fish and eel pasta....not good at alll......the fish and eel was so overpowering I couldn't even eat it. The two other women I dined with felt the same. The flavors were definitely not combined correctly. I sent mine away and our waitress was super nice and offered me the steamed pizza appetizer. We each ordered a dessert..tiramisu was fine nothing extraordinary and the lychee ice cream was very blah. Overall it wasn't a good lunch and not even close to a Michelin star level.....and definitely doesn't justify the 60 euro per person price tag we had for lunch even if the ambience is very cool."

The place is unique because the location is unique ! The food is mid level. They'll tell you that it is a kind of Italian nouvelle cuisine... and it is a disappointment. When comes the bill, this is an other disappointment... Way too expensive unless you have to paz for the location.

Not only is the Starck designed interior spectacular, but the food is a creative, delightful treat. Everywhere you turn is a clever design element. I believe I could come a dozen times and still spot something I have never noticed. Take the food suggestions of the server as nothing is really as described on the menu. We love the passages and dropped in for a coup de champagne & a snack late afternoon. The shop is on the historical register as the home of the Stern engravers, creating cards and invitations for royalty etc for 180 years. Leather embossed painted wall coverings and carved wood everywhere. Parma ham, sardines, and cheeses with compote and mostarde fabulous! Highly recommend!

A very nice restaurant in a very romantic spot.The cuisine is Italian but with a slight and interesting French reinterpretation. Coffee is the best surprise (from an Italian point of view). (I am not used to the wine prices in Paris, so this may be inaccurate) the choice of Italian wines is very interesting, I was surprised to find the Derthona Timorasso, even if its price was four time the price I am used to pay.
