"I rarely write reviews unless a restaurant is either exceptionally good or exceptionally bad. Unfortunately, this restaurant falls into the latter category. The service was terrible and the waiter seemed clueless. Despite being in a great location, everything went downhill when I placed my order. I had specified that I was there for lunch, yet the waiter handed me the drinks menu first. I had to ask for the food menu separately. I ordered a children's meal (starting with hot chocolate) for my daughter and a pasta dish for myself. The drinks arrived, but the hot chocolate was too hot for a child (even though it was on the children's menu). When the food came, only the pasta was delivered, where was the ice cream that was supposed to come with the children's meal? Overall, a disappointing experience."

This place defines awesome. With a beautiful outdoor seating, this place also has a nice cafe space in the indoors. The restaurant was fairly empty as we arrived. The staff was amicable and very cordial. A must try from the menu is their delicious chocolate shake- thick and truly chocolatey. I love it!

I have never come to this place before and after reading the previous reviews I did not have any high expectations from this place. Although we only went for their coffee which was brilliant according to my taste. Decor of this place is lovely. Both the inside and the outside seating options are great.

My friend and I decided to try out this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. The gnocchi and radicchio we ordered were delicious, though a little too sweet for our liking. The service was a bit inconsistent. While we enjoyed our meal overall, we felt that there are other restaurants with higher quality dishes in comparison to this one.

This cafe was pretty amazing in my opinion, i totally adore it. The location is stunning and the interiors are up to the mark as well. The have both the option for outdoor seating and a indoor arrangement as well. The service was very cordial and the staff very friendly even during its closing time. I will definitely recommend trying the hot chocolate which is absolutely impeccable.Must try! View menu

We just moved from St. James' Park to Southbank. And we wanted to start trying out restaurants right away. LPQ was full so we saw the menu and it looked so tempting. We had the Primavera pizza, a diet coke and a beer for 20 pounds so clearly the 15 pounds for two people is way off, considering we only had the main course, since we were in a hurry. More Southbank restaurants soon! Can't wait. :

During our 10-day stay in London, we visited Caffe Vergnano after our trip to the London Eye. There were two adults and three children in our group. We ordered pizza for the kids, a pear and walnut salad, seafood pasta, and zucchini soup. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Our waiter was very sweet and attentive to the children. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal. And I can't forget to mention the delicious hot chocolate - it was creamy and rich in chocolate flavor.

I had a very upsetting experience here. They have extremely deplorable service and even worse food, which are all made worse by the really long waits. We had to wait about twenty minutes to get our drinks and even longer to finally receive appetizers. The restaurant was very hot, and we had to ask thrice for water. The waiters are inattentive and unconcerned. They were unapologetic for their mistakes. and it was all very disappointing. The pizza was decent but the rest of the meal was a huge failure. I am never returning. View menu

If we are being honest, this place does not quite have the fame or allure of restaurants around this area. It is located between many different chain restaurants, and it always seems quite empty. However, once you decide to go in, you discover the truth that almost everybody is in their basement. The setting downstairs is so amazing. There are armchairs and a very equestrian theme. The food tastes amazing. The menu options are really creative an unique and the desserts are brilliant. I especially recommend the Tartuffo doused in chocolate sauce. This place is not inexpensive, but at the same time it is not very expensive either. It is the perfect place to catch up with old friends.

Poor service and atmosphere, rude manager. I can't believe that Time Out gave this place a good review. The owner must have known they were coming. We booked dinner and drinks there and the service was slow at best on a slow Monday night and I know my coffee very well and it wasn't great. The restaurant is down the back on a lower level so there are no views there despite being next to South Bank and the river. One group next to us of about 8 people was kicked out basically for not ordering enough food quickly enough when the place was empty (maybe 5-6 people in the whole restaurant area). We witnessed one of their group stating to the manger on the way out that the customer was always...rea...
