"Is the rating really 1-5? Because I would give it negative. I am begging you not to come here please. It took a total of 2 hours to complete my meal. 30 mins of eating and 1h 30m of waiting. I could have fished my own meal twice in that time. That's not even the problem, you're forced to buy a 4 meal course even if you don't want to, which at the start they serve you some lobster biscuit, but oh no its not a biscuit it's the worst tasting drink I ever had. Just because its a seafood restaurant doesn't mean you have to stuff as much salt as you want into a tiny cup.The food was... meh and it was overpriced. I'm begging you just ease don't come here."

The restaurant was entirely empty but they insisted they were fully booked and couldn't accommodate any walk-ins.

Superb seafood meal. Pleasant relaxed atmosphere, never rushed. Perfectly cooked, delicious and we came away full. The paella was spot on, would definitely order again.

Absolutely amazing food, the fish was so fresh and delicious! Can recommend the smokies for a starter, and the Oysters were an excellent choice to follow. A very interesting location, with lovely attentive staff! Can’t recommend a visit enough looking forward to a return trip!! View menu

This restaurant offers excellent dining options. The menu features up to six courses showcasing the freshest and finest locally caught fish and seafood. I tried deep water fish that I had never experienced before, which made the meal even more intriguing. Mary Jim's warm welcome and friendly, efficient service added to the overall experience. Even though I am not a fan of seafood, my wife convinced me to try this restaurant as she had heard great things about it. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent, not rushed at all. The owner and manager, Jim, was constantly present and eager to talk about the daily catch and upcoming specials. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a relaxed and cozy evening meal.

Really excellent food but it is slow service which would be fine if the room wasn’t so cold. The small number of tables (there were 4 in total during our visit) and the lack of background music did create a strange atmosphere as everyone was trying to whisper to avoid being heard by the other tables.Overall great food but for the price to be justified the overall experience needs to be just as good and unfortunately that isn’t the case here.

"This is the second time I have bought a takeaway from this restaurant in 3 years. 3 years ago I swore blind that I would never go back as the curry I had 3 years ago was bland and the chicken tough and stringy. Decided to give them one more go this evening (three years later and went for a vindaloo with Pilau rice. The Pilau rice was half decent but the vindaloo bordered on inedible the chicken was stringy and chewy and the sauce was pretty much more akin to a Rogan Josh. The menu described the vindaloo as very hot but, in reality, it was mild at best ....... very disappointed..... my main concern was the chicken, what on earth are they doing with it to make it so tough and stringy? I can appreciate that possibly the majority of reviews on here are from people who have dined in and were possibly under the influence of alcohol (which would explain the positive reviews I would literally eat deep fried road kill after a night on the town and think it was the best culinary experience of my life but, trust me folks, get a takeaway at 5pm in the evening (perfectly sober and I guarantee you that you will throw most of your spice tandoori curry into the bin. It 's edible when you 're pished and you wake up the next day thinking best curry ever try doing it sober, I can assure you that it 's a different experience; great place for drunk people to eat substandard food but don 't expect anything special if you are sober. These people are serving up **** to drunk people."
