"I enjoyed the Menu del Día here two days in a row. It was so good that I wanted to go back! On the second day of eating here I arrived near the end of the lunch time (4:30pm) and the owners did not rush me through my meal. The owners are delightful and attentive. There are plenty of choices on the menu of the day and it is a very good value. 14 Euros for a first course, second course, dessert, bread, wine, and water. Coffee is extra. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic food made with great care and fresh ingredients. This restaurant was recommended to me by a local shop owner and I trusted a local's opinion."

We ate at Casa Daniel after visiting the San Isidoro Basilica and Museum in Leon. The owner waited on us and was very pleasant. The food, while ok, was nothing special. Quite bland, seemed almost tasteless. With so many restaurants to choose from, I don't believe I would go back. Not at all expensive, but then not that great either. View menu

We went to this restaurant (not a bar) for lunch twice for their menu del día , which is a fixed set of items you can choose from for lunch. Not fancy or modern (or pricey), just hearty home-style cooking with no MSG sauces, a place where it seemed local families and working people go for lunch. It 's located on Calle Cid across from the Museum of Leon and it has spacious tables. If you want an inexpensive well-rounded meal with wine included, this is a good choice.

"the restaurant becook urbanfood tries to merge the new kitchen author with very elaborate but with a relatively economic price. In fact, he has just joined the list of restaurants bib gourmand 2017 (the michelín who recognizes the work of restaurants with great quality in the kitchens that, at the same time, strive to offer at prices eaten) in his letter will find very worked and new dishes, inspired by the international cuisine but in which the peas are not lost on the earth. Yes, all the dishes are “baptized” with suggestive names, such as the tuna strip with cilantro mojo, lime and pepinillos (a need for the card), the lion gold (the traditional morcilla lion presented in the form of a golden lingote), créme brûlèe de foie with onion of cherezo, orange ceviche of octopus marinated in black juice also have a deliciouser. Have you ever tried “fresh water”? it’s tap water, normal and current, but demineralized and purified in situ, joto before being served the desserts don’t have any residue. if you were dripped by the classic “Dracula” ice-cold pole of your childhood, do not stop trying the strawberry dracula, a visually surprising dessert. If you are more of chocolate, the golden chocolate will be your loss. And to lower the food, a gin tonic with citrus moelin the place is very small and always looks, since this restaurant has become very fashionable. It is essential to book, especially on weekends."
