"We chose this restaurant because it was close to where we were and because of the mainly positive reviews. It was a bad choice. The positives were the proximity to our hotel after a long day walk in Paris because of the subway strike, and the waitress was so no problem with the language! The negatives were the quality of the food, we had to begin Calamari who was in curious little pieces and came with a strange dip that was not Tartare sauce. I had a bland penne arabbiata and my wife a stodgy lasagne; Measures for the glasses of wine were on the stinging side. The saving grace was not expensive, but the food lacked taste and quite openly tasted my main course like package pasta and glass supermarket sauce."

We were looking for something a little more “familiar” than all of the typical French joints for our family of four Americans as we trecked through Paris. This place was perfect! Very friendly, service was fast, and the food was phenomenal. Highly recommend!
