The restaurant is housed in a former industrial unit from the Zollveriein coal mine. With high vaulted ceilings and big sturdy tabled the restaurant is fantastically themed. The food was great and German beer amazing!

Food raised, prices, ambience and staff reasonable, attractive location. Everything in all a place to stay, eat and relax. Nice and accommodating, flexible and also relaxed in terms of staff. I found it very good there!

The atmosphere in this location is quite unique. Dining in an old factory on this high level seems impossible anywhere else. The staff is friendly and quick. The food is fair priced and tastes very good. I can recommend this place.

Near the World Heritage Site we enjoy excellent food and drinks. The selection of foods is the best class. Our selected dishes were a culinary delight. Best of all, extremely competent and very friendly staff. Culture and kitchen are perfectly combined here.

It is set in an old coal mine but this made it a unique environment. The food was beautifully presented and the waiter was genuinely keen to make our stay enjoyable. They do a surprise menu where you let the waiter know things you do...or don 't like e.g. Fish and the chef makes a surprise for you. My husband really enjoyed his courses. I went for the listed menu and wished I 'd been braver as it made it more exciting not knowing what you were going to get. The bread was delicious and the menu was grown up and refined.

The Casino Zollverein Restaurant is located right on the World Heritage Site in one of the historic Zechenhallen. My wife and I like to come here to make us pamper with the beautiful atmosphere and the delicious food. 5Gang with wine tasting is a true feast and highly recommended, but after that you are also a little thieved and then you should travel by taxi to get it full. A few years ago we met with the Real Madrid team tonight. In short, it's quite expensive, but it's worth it. Perfect for a wedding day or anniversary to two.

Very nice ambience and generally a super cozy yet slightly elevated atmosphere. The service is extremely friendly and always has a loose jump on the lips (which is unfortunately not always the case with restaurants in the price segment). The food was tastefully excellent and also visually absolutely convincing (see pictures). The dishes are colorful, unusual and fresh! The portions match the price so you should add appetizer and dessert to become rich. The only real criticism of us was that there is no only vegetarian soup and generally only three vegetarian dishes.
