Caveau Morakopf - Menu

A local must, a caveau typical of the region. The fresh foie gras was absolutely perfect and the Muenster potatoes gratinée to die for. Local Pinot Gris wine. Excellent value.

We were brought here while on a private wine tour. It came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. It is a beautiful restaurant with delicious food. Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend if you are in the region.

a local winery where we tasted some weine, this place recommended to lunch. we arrived shortly after the afternoon, without reservation. and although it was a Wednesday (in a small village on the land) the place quite quickly filled. good regional cuisine, good value.

Easy to find on the main road/street. A lovely outdoor seating area at the back which you can’t see from the entrance. Food is mainly typical from Alsace. Good portion. Extensive wine menu. I can only highly recommend this amazing and cute restaurant in a...beautiful village on the wine route.

Looking through options for lunch through The Fork we came accross this restaurant and booked a table. Located in a small village, this restaurant was very charming, very Alsatian and very welcoming. They gave us a nice table, the service was great and so was...the food. It was a nice find and we will be back.

Encouraged by previous TripAdvisor comments, we quickly booked a table through the Fork (excellent app) and were surprised! Excellent food, wine and service, but what was even better was the beautiful outside terrace. Due to being sheltered, we stayed out there until almost midnight without...feeling cold absolutely fantastic, loved it! :

My friend and I finally realized that the reason the streets were empty between 12:00 at 3:00 is because everyone is having lunch. Luckily we peeped inside the windows at Morakopf to see it was chock a block full of locals enjoying their lunch. It...was totally delicious. My favorite wine, Albert Boxler, comes from this little town, so getting to have a bottle of AB Riesling with our fabulous lunch was a total bonus! Too bad we didn't have a chauffeur!

recently I have reserved myself and a family and friends lunch in this nice restaurant where I had beautiful memories of the feeling of greeting and good eating. the place is silly charming, but clearly not what it was earlier. despite the fact that. I had to put a menu that I can understand (also from some other big tabs, where clearly à la carte choices on the same day.) I felt as not welcome, the owner has changed clearly and has not the same attitude and feeling of hospitality as the previous one. the quality of the food was so, so the prices for the menu was quite high. I didn't come back and felt embarrassing for my friends, a pity that such an address would enter.
