"We stayed in Turckheim to visit the WWII museum (deserved stop) and find a place for lunch. We went from several, whose menus were the same old. Found Le Stewala and noticed the more interesting menu of the day. Found lunch to be far beyond our expectations. The Prix Fixe was beautiful sausages of two styles with red cabbage and noodles. The sausages were delicious and red cabbage was at a completely new level of excellence. The cream Brûlée was as silky as you want. Others had a wonderful trout and a dessert of fresh plums boiled in red wine and served with a Speculos ice cream. Would come back in a minute."

Only looked in to see if we could have a table to say service does not begin until 1900h (1830h published outside) rudely by a waitress. I didn't want to try the restaurant with such a bad attitude...

We had simply, an excellent meal . All of the dishes were expertly prepared. The cook was spot on for the meats ordered. The presentation was perfect. The price was more than reasonable for the quality of the dishes. The service was efficient and friendly. View menu

very well welcomed by a young and friendly boss, you can enjoy, in a pleasant setting, traditional dishes of the alsatian cuisine so tasty baeckeoffe, for amateurs, I advise you the loins of calf, a feast ! Intakes and desserts are not in the rest and the price of drinks is like the very reasonable dishes, in the end, a rather light addition to the well filled bellies!

We stopped at the restaurant by chance and we'll be back soon! a real break to taste delicious and gourmet cuisine, fresh products. No doubt everything is homemade, the kitchen is perfect, the best seasonings and the cherry on the cake service with smile and sympathy. for the rushed past of your turn, for good you need to know how to take your time ... and that it is good to take time!

best Turkishkheim restaurant service to the top and excellent cuisine. and to come back to the last comment that it was received as we were present that day these people arrived with 30 minutes late and by chance they still had to keep their table but as the waitress made them a little remark on their delay these people badly taken and are directly gone. that she beautiful mentality. so bad for them. very bad reception of the waitress, unlimited assaulted all her for a little delay of a little quarter of an hour while 2 out of 4 people were there. and very coldly welcomed by this person told us that she had nothing to worry about and that if there was any delay he did not reserve the table while two people had arrived and then we went to eat elsewhere where everything was impeccable. So I'm not advising anything but because of the bad service.

We have visited Stewala both last year and again this year and both times the food has been excellent. The restaurant is quite small, so it is a good idea to reserve a table. Service is great, but sometimes it takes somre time to get...drinks, coffee etc because there is only one waitress and she is busy, but it doesn’t matter because the food is so good and the place is cozy. Prices are very fair we paid 16 euros for choucroute and it was the best choucroute we have ever had. We will definately comeback back next time we’re in Alsace.

"during our spring stay in alsace, we went to the restaurant la palette, in wettolsheim. I had been there several decades ago. at the time, he was named the Florent father. the spacious dining room was modernized while keeping some elements of the 1970s and others very old. It’s a little surprising! the masterpiece of this room, it is naturally the beautiful wooded ceiling that has been well preserved! some works of art exhibited here and there bring color touches. Hence the name of the establishment the palette! We were greeted in a sober way. throughout the meal, the service was attentive, but a distant strand. there was a moment of waiting between the dishes. On the side of the dishes, the menu offers several menus, including a vegetarian, it’s in the air of time! the map of the very interesting wines. We chose the menu of the month. First of all, a light-hearted amuse. First entrance, a fatty liver with spring vegetables, pickles. two small things however: the preparation was very cold and there was a little too much acidity! Second entry: a mid-cuit tuna escalope in the pak choi, a yuzu-based vinaigrette. The fish was too cooked, so a little dry. the main dish, a beef minced, small spring peas, beans, small carrots, curry-based sauce. The meat was tender. Very tasty sauce. dessert, a melting hazelnut, with a praline sauce. delicious. Finally, chocolate domes and two small verrines. a bottle of Alsatian white wine, organic, which was interesting. we appreciate the quality of Alsatian white wines! In summary, the chef offers quality cuisine, traditional, an inventive brin, with original associations. I quickly observed the mastered side of the event caterer! the value-price relationship is appreciable!"
