"We ate here twice while in Turckheim. Reservations are encouraged. The wait staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were able to share plates which allowed us to have appetizer, main and dessert. We tried the slow cooked ham hock and veal cordon blue with...mushroom sauce. Appetizers were salad and escargots; I only had the salad which had an amazing dressing. Desserts were ice cream with liquor sauce, chocolate cake and creme brûlée. My favorite dessert was the creme brûlée as the cream was the best I ever had. Will return to restaurant on my next travel here."

Great food (vegetarians can ask to leave the Speck/lardon of the Flammkuche, the Bubelekaas is also lovely), very friendly staff and fantastic wine, of course...

Not satisfied with the menu or the service. Pure French customer service not meeting the general expectations of lowest level customer service for non French customers.

We had a very good Salade Gourmant (with foie gras, duck and jambon) for a very good price at a small table outside. Cosy, relaxed atmosphere. The service was friendly and quick. View menu

This restaurant was wonderful, they had traditional Alsatian meals. The desserts were soooo yummy!! You can have your meal inside or sit outside as we did. The experience was amazing!

Main plates were ok: flammenkueche and pork shank. Appetizer (roasted Munster) and dessert (creme brulee) not so.........definitely re-heated (scarcely).......the cheese was cold and so the creme brulee. Atmosphere is ok and drinks fine.

Exceptionally friendly service, beautiful regional old winery decor making you feel at ease from the moment you step in and just perfectly delicious dishes. The salmon and spaetzle combination is by the way worth a try! Plus: great local wines! View menu

We both took a typical dish : choucroute and jambonneau Both were delicious (ham was braised for hours so the meat is supertender). The setting is in a cellar and the service was very good I would advise not to take a starter :...the portions are very generous Worth to look for it.

We had a very nice, relaxing lunch here. The day was warm, but the restaurant's outside seating was in the shade. I had the cordon bleu, and the serving was enormous. The cheese stuffing was rather strong, possibly an aged brie. We all liked our...meal and thoroughly enjoyed our morning visit to Turckheim.

"during our spring stay in alsace, we went to the restaurant la palette, in wettolsheim. I had been there several decades ago. at the time, he was named the Florent father. the spacious dining room was modernized while keeping some elements of the 1970s and others very old. It’s a little surprising! the masterpiece of this room, it is naturally the beautiful wooded ceiling that has been well preserved! some works of art exhibited here and there bring color touches. Hence the name of the establishment the palette! We were greeted in a sober way. throughout the meal, the service was attentive, but a distant strand. there was a moment of waiting between the dishes. On the side of the dishes, the menu offers several menus, including a vegetarian, it’s in the air of time! the map of the very interesting wines. We chose the menu of the month. First of all, a light-hearted amuse. First entrance, a fatty liver with spring vegetables, pickles. two small things however: the preparation was very cold and there was a little too much acidity! Second entry: a mid-cuit tuna escalope in the pak choi, a yuzu-based vinaigrette. The fish was too cooked, so a little dry. the main dish, a beef minced, small spring peas, beans, small carrots, curry-based sauce. The meat was tender. Very tasty sauce. dessert, a melting hazelnut, with a praline sauce. delicious. Finally, chocolate domes and two small verrines. a bottle of Alsatian white wine, organic, which was interesting. we appreciate the quality of Alsatian white wines! In summary, the chef offers quality cuisine, traditional, an inventive brin, with original associations. I quickly observed the mastered side of the event caterer! the value-price relationship is appreciable!"
