"What can I say. The staff are so friendly, the food is brilliant and reasonable. We happened upon this café thinking it was just a bakery. To our delight we saw the home made produce and noticed a sign saying tables upstairs. Although the produce were in take away containers it didn't detract from the delightful tastes. There is only enough room upstairs for about a dozen, but the seating was comfortable and relaxing. I saw another customer eating something unusual, so I asked her what it was. Turned out it was chicken and peppers on a skewer with salad. I had the same and enjoyed every bite, my partner had the homemade sausage roll and remarked that it was the best he had ever tasted. They are excellent cooks."

Bought in stuff is nice. The food cooked on site is tasteless. Complained to staff and had the pleasure of a grumpy sweaty cook confront me. Never again thanks to his attitude.

Small cafe at very corner, locally famous of their sausage rolls and pastries, great quiches and pies too. They have amazing cheesecakes and cakes as well as jams and preserves, great to take away although there is sitting area upstairs too.

I bought a number of quiches, salads and cheese, potato spinach pie to bring home for a small family get together. Everyone raved about the food! Loved the perfect crusts and flavourful fillings. I was sorry I hadn’t bought their cakes as well! Next time.

My husband had been looking at the gorgeous sausage rolls for months and months and finally today bought me for £6 which I thought was very expensive. Got them home. And they were disgusting no seasoning and texture was strange and they just tasted of nothing !! Never again One disappointed husband !! Less £6 in his pocket !

I had never been to this restaurant before, but had been wanting to try it for a while. I finally gave it a shot and was not disappointed! My wife loved the jerk chicken flatbread and I enjoyed the turkey stuffing, cranberry, and gravy baguette. It was awesome! We will definitely be returning. I do agree with the comments about the packaging though.

Visited here with my partner and daughter the welcome is good and the staff friendly and helpful. The food is well presented and of a very good standard and reasonably priced. The hone made pies are excellent as is the choice of salad and various dishes. The only thing that lets it down is the seating area upstairs which is up a very narrow and steep staircase. Apart from this I would of given it a 5. Overall well worth a visit on a lunch time

It was a Monday and we saw the take away offerings in the window and decided to see what else they had for eat down food. Went inside, and they had hotplates of main dishes. Again, they looked fine. I had pasta and I forget what my wife had. Served in polystyrene boxes, but you can eat upstairs at a table. So we took our food upstairs. After a couple of mouthfuls of my pasta it when in the bin up there. My wife's dish closely followed. Possibly the worst cafe food I have ever tasted!

Although we were initially drawn in by the enticing assortment of pastries and quiche on display in the window, we were disappointed to find that the food and drinks were served in polystyrene containers for dining in. The amount of waste produced was substantial, evident by the overflowing bin in the upstairs seating area. The use of flimsy wooden cutlery made it difficult to enjoy our meal, as they were prone to breaking easily. It was a pity because the food itself was quite delicious.
