we had a good typical Swiss German meal here, served by very friendly staff and good sizes.

Excellent Swiss cuisine. Simple and tasty. Friendly staff. The interior is made in Swiss rustic design. The menu includes delicious fitness plate with a delicious rustic salad. Gorgeous ice cream with homemade hot chocolate.

Two fabulous meals here with excellent service and a fabulous view. We had one meal in side and one outside. Good location with a view of the Eiger Prices where good for Switzerland. Excellent food and choice. Really friendly staff as always impeccable English

We ate here twice for dinner because it was so good! Dishes are presented nicely and the portions are generous. Perfect after long hikes. Service is friendly and efficient. Over two dinners my family enjoyed the mushroom risotto, schnitzel, sausage/Rosti combo, and pork loin. They...also said the ice cream was delicious. View menu

fly and fly more. first restaurant we visited and drove to sit outside, but as we sat realized place swarm with flying together, which must only be so moved out. they took our order really fast and how we waited realized loose within 2. I wish we had just left when I didn't eat my food. there are flying, but this place was dirty.

After a long hike with my wife we ended up quite late at Grindelwald looking for some quick dinner before we catch the trains back to Wengen. We entered this stylish restaurant tired and hungry carrying out backpacks and with our hiking shorts and hiking...hats. The manager (unfortunately I did not get her name to thank her personally) found us immediately a place in the bar offered us some drinks while our very tasty meals were being prepared. In the end after an excellent dinner, we took our bus and last train connections with a smile on our faces.

I've been going to the walter hotel restaurant for over twenty years, especially for their beautiful rösti . Usually it's a beautiful large plate with a big I'm my big part. this time it was less than the size of a dessert plate and her. they can see my astonishment as I am not a tourist who can be deceived, remember over twenty years! the plate consisted of a very small amount, which looked like a very old, slightly gray slightly burnt rösti. the waiter must be noticed how ridiculous the portion size was that he offered to bring a little more I mean, not larger than the size of a fried egg than additional part, but at least this time you could say that it cooked golden and fresh as we know....
