"Visited twice first for afternoon drinks and a few days later for dinner. Not easy to find and drive down a very narrow road from the bridge road (hope no traffic coming the other way). First impressions as we drove into area surrounded by trees...and what looks like a bit of a shack with some tables outside –“what are we doing here”! Those impressions were soon altered when bottles of beer arrived accompanied by sparkling clean glasses so must be a bit special! Impressive Tapas to accompany drinks, our first one was a liver dish which was remarkably tasty and not at all chewy – if intending to dine could be worth missing out on some of these and pass some time by collecting walnuts fallen from the trees equally delicious. There were five of us for dinner and as early November we ate inside but imagine would be great outdoors in summer shaded by the trees. Although menu small everyone enjoyed excellent dishes including salmon; lamb chops and broad beans with baby squids. The lady chef excelled with her desserts which were shared and demolished with gusto and accompanied by a bottle of bubbly on the house and coffees. Only open at weekends and inside quite small so well worth booking in advance – you won’t be disappointed"

the food was excellent (especially the pork baked) and was with wine. They had a menu in English speaking, but they are only open to weeks that I believe.

We were tired and ready for some food when we found this place. I expect we spent too much because the menu was packed with authentic and FRESH food. The subtle flavour will stay with me for a long time. Visit if you can.

a small restaurant that is hidden in the talgrund, right in front of durcal, but good to find. only open days and weeks, but in contrast to most local places, they can get a meal from early afternoon to late night without pause. the employees are...big limited English, but very willing to help and explain the menu, the local dishes with a few specialties every day. sangria is dying and eating is all good.

My wife and I went for dinner on a Friday night in April.Still cool enough to prefer eating inside but tall trees outside will give welcome shade in summer. The food was of a very good standard with generous portions. We had the lamb and cod...specials as mains after sharing artichoke and beans with calmari starters. Wine by the glass was good value. It was very quiet but apparently gets busy in the summer. The chef/proprier is very welcoming and speaks some English. As others have said it is not easy to find but well worth the effort. It is rustic inside and out.

Fantastic find very rustic and very friendly. We stopped by for a drink and to check out the menu for dinner later and we were automatically saved a small plate of delicious grilled fish. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful despite our lack of...Spanish and their little English. Returned that evening for a fab meal under the trees atmosphere was buzzing with locals and the lights in the trees made it feel cosy. Starters of meats and cheeses were excellent. Dishes included grilled pork, grilled steak and cod in aioli. Our daughter's burger was huge and delicious. Really recommend this rural local restaurant if you're in the neighbourhood.

A bit of a heart-in-mouth descent through a small village into the valley, good luck if you meet an oncoming vehicle. We booked a table for a Saturday lunchtime the place is busy. Service is friendly, we spoke to the owner/chef a couple of...days earlier, she is lovely and speaks good English if your Spanish isn't up to much. Interesting food, generous and well presented. We started, between with deep fried Camembert, and deep fired artichokes, which were brilliant light batter and drizzled in light honey. Camembert was great also. Mains Wok Duck (literal translation) was just that, fried with veg, mango and came with rice clean plate. Grilled lamb chops were cooked perfectly, came with a sm...
