Chengdu - Menu

Great food. Not the cheapest .... good service... but £9 for 2 pints of lime and soda. I’m sorry but total rip off... sadly this has put me off....

Had several nice meals inside but used it for years as a take away and they always gig the orders right. My only little negative is its a bit pricey

Was a Saturday night and expected a long wait... but it was super quick and super tasty. Will definitely recommend the prawns Hong Kong style and the capital spare ribs. Yum View menu

Considering the ridiculous prices I was expecting a decent meal. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case and it was extremely disappointing. Small portions. Aromatic duck was grey and dry and I'm pretty sure reheated.

Long time since I'd been here-since they stopped lunchtime specials. Ordered main courses only glad we did. Portions were more than generous and only just managed the lot! Food was excellent-included large prawns. Service and ambience as good as ever. Will be back.

Vegetarian/vegan options seem rather limited in Buckingham. Chang Du have a vegetarian/Vegan menu. We found the vegetarian crispy “duck” and pancakes a tasty and generously-sized portion for two. The aubergine in black bean sauce with Singapore rice was also yummy! My partner also enjoyed the Chinese tea! Friendly, attentive service and, I thought, reasonably priced. View menu

Overpriced and completely disappointing. The crispy aromatic duck was served shredded and appeared grey and dry. It was also lukewarm. The chicken noodle dish we ordered had a measly amount of chicken in it. I'm baffled by the positive reviews this restaurant has received, perhaps due to the limited options in Buckingham. I pity anyone who mistakes the subpar food they serve at high prices for quality. I will not be returning here, that's for certain.

The restaurant is very overpriced. I visited on Friday, February 14th with my two daughters and we had a disappointing meal. The set menu is priced at £29 per person. I have tried it before and it was good, but this time the portions were extremely small. We ordered three set menus, but the portions were more suitable for one or two people, not three. It seems like regardless of the number of people dining, they serve the same amount of food and make a profit. I will not be returning and will warn others about this experience. Upon reviewing the menu again upon leaving, it was clear that we were ripped off. I paid £100 for three meals and we left hungry - this is unacceptable. Stay away from...

I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant, especially considering the positive reviews and the exorbitant prices, which were even higher than in London. I visited with a friend and we ordered half an aromatic duck and charsiu pork with egg fried rice. The duck arrived already chopped, which seemed unusual and it came out very quickly. The duck looked greyish and dry, making me question if it was cooked fresh or just reheated. The charsiu pork was served on a large bed of beansprouts, which I assume was meant to hide the fact that there were only 9 pieces of pork.
