Delicious traditional French fare in a friendly little restaurant. The cod and duck were cooked to perfection.

It's these type of restaurants make Lyon live up to its name as the capital of gastronomy of France. Owners were very helpful with English speaking. 100 euro for an unforgettable full courses meal with wine.

Just being thrown out after half a second by a very rude woman.. i am with my family and pregnant wife. 9.15 pm. Half occupied restaurant.. she just said "not possible" and left us at the door Still amazed by this .

We popped in for a quick lunch on our first day in Lyon and were very happy with our experience.The food was delicious and, by the looks of things, the chef changes the formule regularly as they were hand-written in the menu book.Our meals were clearly choc-full of tasty, fresh produce and the service was prompt and smiley.Definitely worth a stop.

Taken here for lunch, by a friend who lives in Lyon, and knows the restaurant. The service was excellent and, when I explained my onion allergy - yes, it's a total pain! - the staff were very helpful, pointing out the dishes which were best for me. I had a rib of pork, in a paprika sauce, with potato purée and carrots. Simple but very tasty. Followed up with a divine, rich chocolate mousse. The decor is eccentric, everything to do with chickens, hens and cockerels, with the odd statue of the Virgin Mary for good measure. My friend speaks fluent French, whilst I can speak and understand pretty well, and I was pleased that the staff put up with my efforts and didn't patronise me by immediately...

We've been around Lyon for 15 years and only now do I find this little gem of a restaurant. Don't be put off by the rather eccentric colour scheme outside. Inside the colour scheme is rather softer and it's a jolly aladdin's cave of art deco, oldish french, bresse china chickens. The greeting and service are first class. Sunny faces all around and very, very efficient throughout the two hours we were there. Excellent choice on the menu du jour for 20 euros plus the usual drinks, wine, coffee and so on.
