Chilango - Menu

This franchise is run by the sort of get rich quick merchants. they are progressively upping the prices and reducing portion quality and size. their choice, it was an okay place to go but now there are too many better and cheaper places to give your money

This is probably where i come for lunch most days! Food is great and the staff are amazing too! Special shout out to the lovely ladies Maria, Bea and Maria who are always a joy to see! Great customer service and never too much to cater for a pregnant woman!

I just tried this place for work lunch, I'll deffo be back soon. I was really pleased to finally find a low-carb lunch option. It isn't too pricey which is good for mon-fri lunches and they staff are v friendly. There was a bit of a queue but for good reason I suppose! Love it.

The staff at this restaurant were wonderfully cheerful and made for a fantastic dining experience. The only downside was that the surf and turf dish was not cooked to our liking, despite being advertised as such. Nonetheless, it was an overall great dining experience at a reasonable price.

The food at this restaurant is consistently tasty and fresh, but if you upgrade to the regular box, be prepared for a small portion. The box is often only half full once you add your toppings. Burritos may offer better value for your money. Also, be aware that adding guacamole for £1.50 may not provide a generous portion.

Popped in for lunch yesterday and had a box full of Mexican delights. Be careful what you pick though as the price quickly escalates and before you know it your paying £10.00 for what was supposed to be a cheap lunch! However, the portion size was mighty and a bit on the large side! The food was good flavours are a good combination of zing and heat if you opt for the delightful chillis sauce!

First visit, bought sweet potato fries, they were cold, so cold, that didn't feel like they'd been heated at any point! Ordered surf and turf hot box, was also expecting this to be hot given the name. Cold rice, brown lettuce, black beans with little flavour, supposedly spicy sauce, which had no flavour whatsoever...... Two dried out prawns, with the chewiest steak! A complete waste of £13.50

This chain outlet was a surprise find for us as we went to the nearby Leather Lane for their plethora of food stalls. As the stalls packed up for the late afternoon, we ventured into Chilango as an experiment. WOW !! I ordered a Surf 'n ' Turf Burrito £8.95) and my dining companion had the Low-Carb box £4.95). Both were of superb, fresh quality and a generous amount of food made it a real bargain too. £15.40 for two people with a soft drink is a rare and enticing bargain. Staff were cheerful, friendly, helpful and generous. I cannot recommend Chilango highly enough. What a great experiment.

Chilango, located on Brewer Street (multiple locations), is the place to go for delicious Mexican food. The ingredients are fresh and tasty, and the service from Daniel and Luca was outstanding. We even got to see Daniel make our burrito in just 15 seconds! The music and decor are fantastic, and I can't wait to return. I enjoyed the Chicken Burrito and the Surf Turf Rice HotBox with perfectly cooked steak and prawns. The Oven Baked fries with BBQ salsa were also a hit - I loved the salsa so much that I had to take some home. I also tried a Jarrito Mexican soda in Guava flavor. Overall, a great dining experience at Chilango!
