"Massive drop in standards. Was once great. Only takes cash now which is always very suspect. Ordered Cantonese style chicken and got chicken balls in batter, but forcefully squashed down and cut up to make them look like cantonese style. Chicken was dry. Chicken mushroom was average with dry, hard chips. If we had a dog, I wouldn't have given them to it."

Menu so outdated even thought they keep updating it to the same one over charge then the menus without saying anything food is microwaved avoid this Chinese at all costs

This is my favourite Chinese takeaway. I don't know what's happened but the food has changed in the last couple of weeks ,not for the better.The size of the meal has been cut down and it doesn't taste as nice. Will be finding another takeaway. Very disappointed.

I’ve had 3 meals delivered since they apparently had a refurb? It’s not been the same since. Smaller portions, tasteless curry sauce. you may as well make your own) and very old chips. The delivery was quick but obviously not getting fresh food! Won’t be going back! View menu

The meal was so salty it was inedible I had to throw it away, I don’t know who would even be able to eat it with that much salt in the meals. I think your chefs need to try the meals before they are sent out, if they tried them I’m sure they would feel the same ! Not good

This is a takeaway rather than a restaurant, which I've gone to from time to time. In my view, the food is tastier and better prepared than other local Chinese takeaways. The portions are generous too. On the downside, it's cash only, but I can work around that. China Garden will continue to be my go-to for Chinese food in Long Eaton.
