"We decided to treat ourselves to a breakfast delivery on a Sunday morning. Uber Eats had as their top rated so we decided to give it a go. We had been wanting to try this place for a long time. The breakfast arrived quickly...and was being handled very well by the Uber driver. When we opened it the packaging was well thought out. Little pots for the wet ingredients such as beans and tomatoes. The toast separately packaged. The eggs were perfectly runny which often doesn't happen with takeaway breakfast. We found the food delicious and plenty of it too. Our best breakfast delivery to late. Will have to try the rest of the money now!"

"happy enough to get a cancellation so in the position to celebrate our wedding day and my birthday. eating and service here are simply excellent. we're here a few times and it's brilliant every time. I really can not recommend this restaurant very enough, although it is hard enough to get a booking already, so don't tell everyone!"

"The service and food at this restaurant are always lovely. However, I had to dock a star due to the attitude of one of the male servers. I have coeliac disease and am a vegetarian, which can make dining out challenging. Thankfully, Copper Cogs caters very well to those with dietary restrictions. I ordered a gluten-free vegan burger, but when it was served, the server only confirmed that it was gluten-free. After requesting confirmation that it was also vegan, the server hesitantly assured me that it was. While I was able to visually confirm that it was the correct burger after comparing it to my partner's beef burger, the server's continued questioning made me feel uneasy and anxious about my meal. I believe that servers should not question customers about their food choices after they have already started eating. This experience made me hesitant to finish my meal and I hope that similar situations are handled differently for other vegetarian/vegan customers."

"Needed somewhere for a coffee whilst I had a spare 30 mins. I was recommended Higgs Bistro and wasn’t disappointed. This is a great little place with lots of character and awesome staff. This was a place where the service was outstanding and the coffee and food superb . Quaint and cosy. Stop on in"

"This place has transitioned from a lovely bar to one that seems to struggle with customer service. After a recent change in ownership, the experience has noticeably deteriorated. Unfortunately, tonight was our last visit, and we can no longer consider it our beloved spot. The environment has shifted from tidy to chaotic, and the once tasteful background music has been replaced by loud Ibiza-style beats. We were even moved to accommodate other customers, despite being a larger group that arrived first. Overall, the quality has declined, and the charming "little Italy on your doorstep" vibe we adored has vanished. We were willing to pay a bit more for that experience, but now the prices no longer reflect the atmosphere. Unfortunately, this place is no longer for us.
