"My hubby and i were going to try the restaurant out for the first time since it reopened after lockdown. We had been many times in the past and very much enjoyed our carvery there. Having been assurede when i enquired that they had taken all the Covid precautions, we came along. Firstly the car park was full, and we were surprised given that in theory it shouldnt have been , as we had been told there were less tables all socially distanced, therefore should have been fewer customers. We did park eventually, then walked in to the restaurant. It was heaving, with many people milling about , a long queue at the carvery counter intruding almost into tthe bar area, with the customers all bunched up and no social distancing,. We observed around us and felt that the dining tables were too close together. Sadly we decided not to stay, and we came away.It felt very dissappointing as we had previously enjoyed our times there, but we will not be going back if this is the precedent as to how it is set out. We have emailed the restaurant to ask for their coments but have not as yet received a response."

Excellent food and good service. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be booking again. I would highly recommend the seafood Risotto. There are plenty of choices for non meat lovers which is great.

Sunday lunch with family is really enjoyable at Christopher’s. Fantastic value for money carvery coupled with friendly service and good ambiance. Large car park and handy location. Booking is essential as it gets very busy on a Sunday. Great day.

We came here with the intention of having a nice meal, having read the reviews it seemed a good choice, however on arriving the chef/ cook was standing in the main entrance in his chef whites smoking, very off putting, needless to say we we went elsewhere, please have a chat with the chef it really does not set a good impression.

It was nice and clean. We walked in and was greater by christine whi took our order. She was polite and welcoming. We ordered sea bass and Adana kebab. Which came both with rice and salad. We had some lovely flat bread and olives. We didn't have a starter or pudding because the main was enough but I know I could have gone for a pudding. The staff were pleasant and I would definitely recommend there. We also had a glass of Turkish Efes beer. If you want good turkish food this is the place to be. I will be returning soon.

I have gone here many times for Sunday lunch and last week I went with my MuminLaw, 11 year old daughter and myself to the Thursday night sizzle and steak night and it was a great price and it was wonderful to eat. The hosts are always friendly and the food was yummy. I have heard they are leaving the pub and I want to thank them for their service to food and the community over many years and I wish them lots of luck. But to the people out there go and try their food before they are gone, it is well worth the effort and the money.

We came out for my birthday dinner. Myself, partner and 2 children. The waitress was beyond amazing, took our drinks order and was so quick! We ordered our food, I ordered a lot of sushi, my partner the lamb chops and both kids had the kids burgers. The lamb chops were tasty, the kids enjoyed the burgers but my goodness the sushi was absolutely mind blowing!!! I enjoy my sushi and have it regularly and this was the best sushi I’ve had in a long time!! I do not understand why this restaurant isn’t busier!!! They deserve to be busy all the time! If your nearby give them a chance!!!

What a real Gem!We visited on a Sunday for a carvery. The service was as alway very efficient. The social distance was in my opinion very well organised, but as always can't please everyone. The food is excellent, hot, extremely tasty, plenty of food great quality. We always leave well satisfied, which to me is a mark of value for money. We have visited for most meals we have never been disappointed.Hopefully Christopher will pull through the current situation resume business later this year. All the staff are very professional, polite, courteousWe are looking forward to our next visit.

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
