"We chanced upon this Chinese restaurant on our way to the San Lorenzo market. We didn't have lunch that day and decided to have early dinner to try out the restaurant as an alternative to Italian food after a week of pasta and pizza. It is a simple looking with limited renovation type of neighbourhood restaurant. This restaurant served Chinese Sichuan and Hunan cuisines. The restaurant toned down the spiciness and the hotness of the dishes without compromising on their flavour and the aroma. We were not big eater and ordered a chicken dish and a spicy noodle dish. Both were excellent and the serving size is very generous for the price we paid. We were pleasantly surprised to find there is such good value Sichuan and Hunan food in Florence. It is really a gem. Few days later we met some travellers from the same country while we were in Cinque Terre. They were heading to Florence and we suggested they might want to try out this Chinese restaurant if they wanted alternative to pizza and pasta. They did and they also gave thumbs up to the food and I was told they visited the restaurant twice while in Florence. I certainly recommend this restaurant if you want alternative to Italian cuisine and you like Sichuan and Hunan Chinese food."

The place was opened from lunch till dinner time. It has a large variety of food. The staff were nice and had good attitudes. Went there twice when I was in Florence as the food was really good. Do eat the 四季豆 and steamed egg. It was so good!

Huge menu, very good selection of dishes, pretty big portions for a Chinese restaurant in Europe. Service was pretty good. I don’t think the staff spoke much English. We were the only non-Chinese customers in the restaurant, which is a good thing.

The prices are super high, and our soup came out with meat that tasted like it was beef jerky? Did they even bother to cook our food? My mom was pretty disappointed, and was by far our worst food experience in Italy. They didn't even let us doggy bag the good parts of our order!

decided to try some Asian cuisine while in rom. while in rom. the food itself did not taste bad, but it was usually rice, with very little meat. there might have been 2 bbs of pork (despite the menu saying there would be pork.) Maybe that was my mistake to try non-Italian food in italia

we stopped in here on November 21, 2019. As we were looking for something different. we order 4 items off the menu, all were served hot and made to order. the sweet and sour chicken and hot and sour soup were great. great favour. , huge bowl of soup for 4 euros is a great deal, we eat a lot of chinese food home and this was right up there. it is a small place and there is limited english but the pics of the food are all you need. would got back if we are in Florence

This little restaurant serves Chinese food with no compromises to Western taste. So expect beef brisket soup or even untranslated items on the menu next to things that are more convenient to Europeans but still authentic. And when it says, spicy, be aware that is hot suitable for the more experienced only. I had a delicious Sichuan style soup that was so hot that I think, many won't be able to eat it (i do have some experience). A great escape from the pizza and pasta.
