"The restaurant has a nice and comfortable layout. However the portion sizes are small. I had the crispy prawn and mix kebab starter and it was literally 4 to 5 small prawns on a plate next to a lemon and lettuce. plenty of luttuce. same with the mixed kebabs which also had an onion bhaji. small and few. the main dishes had only a few pieces of meat also. the service were nice until we had an issue, before ordering we asked whether a dish would be sweet or if it can be made spicy instead to which the server confidently advised that they can make it spicy instead of sweet. when the dish arrived it turned out sweet, the server took it back and brought it again a few minutes later. when tried they had only added chilli powder on top of it to which we returned the dish. they still charged us for the dish saying it was our fault for ordering a sweet dish when i had specifically asked before ordering whether it can be spicy and not sweet. the waiter walked away mid-conversation. it isn't worth the price."

Love this place- best around!! In the 8 years I've eaten here (weekly! I've probably only had 1 meal that wasn't over 8/10. Exceptional and 5 rating on hygiene too! View menu

We chose to go to Cinnamon Lounge for dinner, based on locality. The existing reviews were very good, we were not disappointed and we had the most fabulous food delivered to our table. I had the Dhansak and it was the best curry I have...

Curry fans-we called in on the speck as we were passing through the town-the meal was absolutely delicious-my 2 friends opted for a chicken curry and I took the gamble and had a lamb dish-the lamb was succulent and chunky-it was worth the punt-the spices...

We had food delivered the food come warm and very little portions we ordered two different curry’s they both tasted the same we ordered starters they was dry tasteless and tough to get off the bone. the chicken pakora looked and tasted like a chicken nugget. We found bones in chicken curry the grease was floating on top of the curry. Won’t be using this place again first time and last time View menu

I went with my family, husband and adult children. It was my second visit I am a fan of Indian food, although fussy on quality. The food here is slightly different from the average and there is vast choice. We all found dishes that we wanted to eat with some sides to share. We did clear all the platers as it was so delicious. I left feeling full but not bloated everything was tasty well cooked. The service was attentive but not overbearing. In atmosphere it was very quiet, which was good for us as we wanted to talk to each other, but may feel a bit flat to others. I would go out of my way to eat here again.

So very disappointing! My god was so bright red, so strong it was overwhelming and not consistent with the same dishes I’ve had in any other Indian. I was unable to eat the dish so I had to ask them to make some change and add more cream for it to be edible. The 5 dishes we received were average and the quality was nothing like it was last time we visited. We were so disappointed as we’d taken family there so it was embarrassing. The other point to make is there was a service change added. Weirdly it was hidden on the bill in the middle and just had the descriptor as S/C. I had to ask what the charge was- apparently the menu stated there a service charge…. I didn’t see that. We were only a t...

"Visited this place for the first time last night and have to say the service was really really poor from the second we walked through the door. Our table was booked for 7.45pm we didn’t get seated till 8.20pm and when the young girl seated us there was no apologies for waiting and she came across very blunt..the soup starter was lovely but the bread was a let down it was like cake and the bread with that brown sauce on ruins the bread it tasted pretty nasty,my friend liked the bread but said that the sauce ruined it. The bread to me just wasn’t very nice I make home made bread myself and this was pretty poor it tasted nothing like homemade bread. For the main I had a medium rare steak the steak was very raw inside you may aswell have just gave me a cow mooing and only the sides had been touched it was cold in the middle!! and warm on the outside (I ate it as I was so hungry I had been working all day and came straight home dressed and out again) but it had not been cooked properly to how I like it, I felt funny after eating the steak. The service was really poor one lad said to us “have you finished with that” nearly everybody spoke so lazy there was no professionalism. There was only one person who stood out as I overheard him serve another table and he was very welcoming and professional he was wearing all black and was also working on the bar he had dark blond ish hair and spoke gentle,I hope your paying him well because his manners etc is impeccable and he was very polite to us when he served us upstairs at the bar."
