Nice pub. Food is ok. A bit of a shame that nothing seems to be freshly made on the menu.

Fantastic experience. Went in for a beer and a small plate but wish we would have gotten a full meal. The appetizers were very good and the atmosphere is really nice. Next time I stop through town I plan on going back to try more! View menu

Had a lovely afternoon Attending a Christening celebration party . Venue was comfortable for a large gathering. The Buffett served a good variety of food and constantly re filled when empty. Staff were friendly, I can highly recommend this pub.

Had a lovely breakfast on a miserable Saturday morning. Weather was very windy and it constantly rained! Just what us Brits like at the beginning of our Summer season ! Great breakfast, great service and a good place to be if you love football .....

Pub food meal with a huge shared chicken platter and a couple of real nice beers. Friendly staff and a huge pub with seating for such a small outside of the building. So friendly and welcoming. We were staying in the area and fancied looking around the small town so we took the bus from Hythe.

Our annual visit to the Cinque Ports collided with a fantastic summer festival which included an upcoming band and our new favourites: mixed emotions! Incredible turn out for a really talented band. I can tell you now, this band will never forget this pub! Even when they’re performing at Glastonbury, Reading Leeds!

We have previously had some fantastic food here, but had a terrible time when we visited on Sunday. We rang ahead to ask for a table and were advised that we could order food up to 8pm. We said that we were 10 minutes away, arrived just before 8pm, ordered our food but were then asked what table we were sitting at. Went back to the table to find out, then when we got back to the bar, were told that we were too late for food, even though we had placed the order. Was a real shame as it was our last night and we had previously had such a good time before. View menu
