Feels like a real Italian place. They sell pinsa not pizza ; We went there on a Friday evening and it was super full. So I would say to book ahead is recommended. The food is good. We had a pinsa and a lasagne. I recommend the pinsa, the lasagne was OK but not more.

We wanted to have dessert and drinks and the waiter was openly annoyed that we weren't ordering an entree. The restaurant was not crowded so it wasn't like we were taking over a spot from a dinner customer. We also ordered creme brulee and it had only granulated sugar on top.

Wow! Some of THE best food I’ve ever had. The bruschetta is to die for…. The truffle pasta is amazing and this dessert…. I am in heaven and hell because I am so full but so worth it!! . This place is a gem on a side street that anyone in the area should definitely checkout. The staff is great and the food is phenomenal!

So far, the best place in Frankfurt to enjoy a traditional Pinsa. I've been there countless times, in different Situation, with friends, colleagues, on a date, and I was never ever disappointed. Quality of ingredients is high, the staff is very welcome and friendly, and you can choose on a wide range of food and Desserts. You cannot go wrong if you come here, for sure!

Ciro il lattaio, the place which never disappoints, I 've been coming regularly to this place for the past four years or so, and my favorite thing is the Pinza! Last night we where a large group +25) and the service from the whole staff was flawless. Hats off to Francesco for the great service and the Italian atmosphere, whenever you want to feel in Italy while in Frankfurt, this is your place.

Food is definitely good. But it is also well known that the service is absolutely terrible as reported in other comments. Waiters range from cold at best, down to extremely rude and offensive at worst. Besides, they have been caught multiple times adding fake extras to the bill or demanding (very generous) tips. After a final terrible experience, I won't go there anymore. There are many excellent pizzerias in Frankfurt, e.g. Super Bros, so there is really no reason to endure all these disrespectful behaviours and shady antics.

The food is good but the service is very poor, they gave us a Menu we couldn’t understand then when we started ordering the waiter got angry for no reason because he couldn’t understand English very well. When I asked him to repeat the order he started swearing in German and called his waiter friend who spoke English well. They are very friendly with most customers but with us they weren’t even though we didn’t ask for much just sad down and ordered. I wouldn’t recommend them if you don’t speak the language or look like a European.

I took pizza calabrese (with salami and olives). It was too salty. Salami itself contains a lot of salt. Olives contain salt and pizza (mozzarella) contains salt. It was almost like eating salt. I had good experiences from Ciro but the last time I didn't like it. The review is of 4 stars because as I said I really enjoyed other types of pizza. The review for only pizza calabrese would be 3 stars. The pizza itself was great (good and quality ingredients) but too salty. For the rest the place is really nice and welcoming. Waiters are great.

Nearly broke my tooth on the olives on my pizza as they didn't remove the stones. We asked for tap water and received a bottle of water which when we got the bill found out was €7.90!!?? The waiter made a point of mentioning that the tip wasn't included on the bill. Pizza was really bad and the unbelievably rude and aggressive waiter made us feel really uncomfortable during our meal, he then shouted at us and then chased us down the stairs when we didn't want to leave a tip. We could then see him glaring at us through the glass door and insulting us in front of the other customers and staff. Completely unacceptable.
