"Whilst the views were lovely and we managed to park okay, we were disappointed. We arrived very early in the day, so they hadn't been open for long, and already at the time, there was dirt under the table we sat on. Meet friends at this cafe and placed an order at the table. A mixture of hot and cold drinks, cakes, and a bacon sandwich. The bacon sandwich was just under £6 and consisted of 1 and a half rashers of bacon on white bread. As soon as staff saw the drink was finished, they were back over asking if we wanted another. We refused but remained seated. 3 times in total, they came over asking if we wanted anything else. The pressure was that much we caved and ordered another round of drinks. I wouldn't mind if the cafe was busy but there were only 4 tables (including ours) that were taken. It certainly wasn't a relaxing visit as after finishing the pressured round, we felt compelled to leave, or we were going to be jumped on again to spend more money. I took a visit to the toilet before we left, and i wished I hadn't. There was urine on the floor, and feaces spread on the rim of the toilet. Maybe they should have paid more attention to toilet checks than pressurising the customer to spend more money."

Another lovely lunch. Friendly cafe, good food, friendly staff and good sea views. A good area for a walk and lunch overlooking the sea, inside or outside.

Busy place but seated quickly. Went here as chippy was closed. Not disappointed. Nice cheesy chips and hot chocolate. Plenty of staff and run really efficiently. Loved the loo!!

Perched on the top of beautiful Babbacombe Downs with wonderful views of Lyme Bay and beyond. A hearty soup of the day, complemented with complimentary bread and butter. Excellent value. Cheery crew. Great espresso.

This café is in a great location, looking out to sea from the cliffs at Babbacombe. It also has great service and a good, affordable menu. I had a small cooked breakfast with a mocha plus a piece of cake to take away for later. Both were great. View menu

A peaceful break for me and 3 friends. It was a very late lunch but we were still made to feel welcome. Very impressed with the young men working. They were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Very nice crab sandwiches in a clean and attractive atmosphere.

I visited the restaurant on Tuesday for a casual meal. I was seated on a comfortable sofa with beautiful views downstairs. The service from a very friendly lady was quick, and I didn't have to wait long for my cheese scone and latte. Both were delicious, and I would definitely come back again.

Used this place many times before and always returned. Went in today for full English breakfast and have to say this was the worst I have ever had. The food must be cooked prior and reheated. My sausages were burnt and rock hard, bacon dry, tomatoes burnt and the pot of beans luke warm. When I requested an unburnt sausage the waitress went away and seconds later brought back another equally inedible sausage. Not once did I receive an apology or a request if everything was OK. On a positive note the coffee was good. Sadly they have lost my custom. View menu

The food at this restaurant was delightful, and the view was stunning. The staff were fantastic; we were served by two young men who were friendly and incredibly patient, despite being interrupted by a very rude man at the table behind us who was upset that his coffee had gone cold while he was trying to get a good connection on his phone. The staff remained professional and handled the situation well. The food arrived quickly and was delicious, although a few items had run out as we arrived just before closing time. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area, especially if you have just made the trek up the hill from the beach.

Today, I had a disappointing experience at my favorite coffee and ice cream spot, Babbacombe. I encountered a staff member with a very rude attitude. It was a cold and windy day, so I just wanted to grab a coffee to go. As soon as I walked in, the female staff member didn't even greet me and immediately asked if I was looking for a table. I informed her that I was just there for a coffee, and she responded harshly, saying they were full. Her unfriendly tone made me feel unwelcome. She even mentioned that there was no space for my pram, which I felt was unnecessary since I was only out for a walk with my 2-month-old baby. If she had been more polite, I would have understood the situation. The...

"We use this place to wow our clients. From large corperate to small business owners, each (wish I could swear to emphasise here) love this place. This IS the best Tapas, if not, best restaurant locally. A fine dining menu with a friendly, relaxed, yet special feel. They nail a multitude of cuisines, with each dish being the best variation of it i've tasted. Now i'm only in my (late) 20's, but our clients vary and all of which that have come here agree and never want to leave. Each time they come to visit us, we don't firstly look at agenda's, we look to see if we can get a seat here. The chefs are excellent, but you don't always come back just because the food is great, which is why Sara and her team are the best at what they do. Sara makes everyone feel special and really knows cares about her stuff. She deals with each situation perfectly and even when i've had to sit and cringe at situations, she spins it expertly, avoids any awkwardness and ends up making even the worst jokes seemingly brilliant. You have the likes of the elephant/ other boujee' fine dining restaurants which when we have a client used to be first the options we'd think of, but now it's nothing other than here. The others have a pretensious aura and make lovely meals in a stale atmosphere, but not here as you can enjoy the occasion and company just as much as the amazing food. My one and only critism is that it's now impossible to find another place to take our clients, which is why I returned with the same client on Thursday and they couldn't be happier. I could write a lot more, but won't be a bore, so i'll end by saying thank you for keeping going. I first came to you after you recently opened, with my father and his spanish friend (a typical spanish bloke... a big headed chef, which your food is the first he did not critique). You were seemingly struggling and it even felt like you were close to giving up. We're all glad you didn't. Thank you Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
