"today with the family visited after a beautiful walk with the dog along the beach, what can I really say it was quite decent, better than I expected to be honest, the young girl who served us seemed quite boring, but she is only young. Maybe 16, so she probably got bare but she was nice enough and she was polite and helpful when I talked to her. the food came better than expected, and the portions were large, I got a blt that came with door stop bread and thick speck, and decent amount of tomatoes, it came with a side salat asswell that had paprika? it wasn't bad. I wasn't a fan of the tee bag, but that's nothing in the caffe, more a personal choice of me. I'm not out of the opposite, but fortunately, if I would visit the opposite again. I can't knock it on anything, decent prices, eat and service."

Having had a nice stroll along Climping beach we came across this good value cafe, with a nice seating area and picnic tables. We had a very tasty Cheeseburger and salad.

the dogs for a walk along the beach today followed by a snack at the beach café. very impressed by the delicious and well cooked cheeseburgers that came with chips and salat garnish and very good cappuccinos and the good humble staff. View menu

the caffe do very tasty and inexpensive food,I would like to return from this ground, but unfortunately I think that the parking (not owned by caffe) is expensive and complicated, and the beach has been ruined and is not easy to reach. such a scandal that it can affect the cafe case.

we stopped yesterday, as at the first time the big spot in the sunshine had tee and hot cruise bunkers could see that it was busy in the summer all the staff were very friendly and important note toilets as well! would also be nice on a rainy day walk, but not sure about any cover like all sitting outside maybe a big summer sunshade

sad to see customer services hasn't improved, the rudest most unhelpful staff in any café. Would not serve me an ice cream 5 mins before closing, which was dreadfully early on a warm sunny July Saturday afternoon with the car park still well occupied and...the beach busy. This place could be a gold mine, and may be it is, but staff complacency is dreadful. View menu

Usually this is a lovely little cafe. However when we visited today it was not at all good. My hot chocolate was tepid and my toasted cheese sandwich was actually 2 pieces of toast with piles of grated cheese still raw inside. A toasted cheese...sandwich requires the filling to be toasted not JUST the bread. The staff were not the usual people so maybe it has changed hands. At 2pm it began to close and staff were heard saying ices and drinks only. People kept arriving and were turned away. The car parking system is now via the cafe and most drivers were not paying so that needs addressing

Myself and my fiancé took a stroll down to Climping beach and visited the beach cafe for what we intended to be just a light snack to keep us going for the day. We waited about 10 minutes for a prawn mayo sandwich and a...tuna melt sandwich and on opening the package we found the king of all sandwiches. The name sandwich' does not seem enough to describe these soft and deeply filled delights. If I had been told that the bread was homemade and our tuna and prawn had been hand fished from the sea that day I would have believed them. Unfortunately we dug in before getting a picture. Absolutely lovely, wish we had been able to visit again to sample the breakfasts and the fish and chips. I hope t...

"Went with my partner who’d been here a good few years before and had fond memories of it. It’s changed! I was told on the phone it was advisable to book, I have no idea why as it was practically empty. We were pretty much ignored when we got there by an older woman behind the bar but hoped it would get better. The elderly woman on another table went off to find her own pepper so I should’ve known then. We ordered drinks and one pint of flat coke later we asked to send it back, I was told it was indeed real Coke by the sullen looking waitress wearing cycling shorts. She then admitted it wasn’t real Coke and did he want a bottle of that. We were waiting so long for our food that dirty glasses were accumulating on the table and at one point we put them up on the window sill. Then noticed a dirty big stain on the table cloth and a candle holder with old wax in but no candle left there on the table. We asked how much longer the food was going to be as we both had work in the morning and it turned upafter 60 minutes and I wish we’d have left 20 minutes earlier when we’d thought of doing so. When it came it was a shock to see the £27 sirloin steak. Over priced and average at best. We had to ask the waitress ‘can you please take all these dirty glasses while we eat?’ The meal was already ruined and our evening out spoiled not by the food but by the shoddy way we were treated from start to finish. Even the lemon had to be sent back! No juice, fell away from the skin into mush so god knows how long that’d been there. Apparently she needed to tell the chef but brought back more of the same. We had to quibble the bill afterwards as the pint of flat cola syrup sent back was still on there. The manageress or whatever her job title is should be embarrassed at how customers are treated but unfortunately it was obvious she didn’t care and no apology given and she treated us exactly the same. If o was on my own I wouldn’t have paid so they’re lucky we did. It was one thing after another. We came home feeling like we’d been taken advantage of and I wish I’d said more at the time. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, I chalk it up to experience and move on so you can imagine how bad it was. If you like fawlty towers you may enjoy this farce but we’ll put this down to one place we’ll never go back to and will NEVER recommend. Joke of a place. What a shame."
