"we had a starter of hommous, cruditees (it would be nice to have had with this somewhat sorted paprika) and there were some discs of flatbread. I ordered the mixed grill where you could choose two types of spits, I went for chicken and bark. this came to spit, but the flesh was cold. I didn't complain because I wasn't sure when I was getting the main course, because we had to wait one. the meal came with skin on fries that were hot. there was also a small salad that was in order. my nabebie ordered the fillet steak sandwich with sweet potato fries. his eating was hot. we both had desserts. I chose chocolate fondant, it should be hot, but it was cold. it tastes ok. my nabebie had apple tart tartin that he enjoyed very much. I don't know if I'm returning"

I was eating with friends. the service was bad. we had to try to take over our food order. the food portions were tiny for the price.

Very small portions. The chilli cheese extra on the fries was chilli powder the smallest bit of cheese for The chicken pitta was very nice though

Staff were very polite. Awful food , had ribs and they had hardly any meat on them and they were extremely dry. Waited around an hour for plates to be cleared and to get the bill. Wouldn’t recommend or come back again.

Service was slow. Paid for bottles of peroni. We asked for pints, they took a long time to tell us the taps weren’t working. Offered bottles as an alternative but still charged for the original drinks. Wouldn’t recommend.

Came here as part of works Christmas get together, had table booked for , they had good offers on Cocktails but not able to mix and match, quite expensive also. The toilets are horrendous down a lot of stairs and very dirty and smelly...which was very off putting, seemed to have alot of confusion with final bill even though we were paying as we went along. This is my visit to Coal in a month first experience wasn't good but thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Won't do that again.

eat, not even safe where to taste burger, dry, weak boiled meat it bun, dry salad slightly brown at the edges soggy tomato chips, overcooked and I am convinced refried. mais on the cob. mushy, tasteless and wet cheeseboard, cheese hard and old looking. no celery, no grapes. as was asked where this was given answer “oh we have no” asked for kissing when we went in. had to forget the time waiter order and had to be back to double check fair waitress was apologetic and took the money for the cheese board and mais on the kohlen but not pleasant
