I love vegetarian and fish, I strongly recommend salmon and potatoes meatballs, as well as the tartare of shrimp very tasty and with unusual combination, the neckline . Super sweets, I loved the Sicilian cannolo. Of course you have to finish with the ginger drink, you can't miss it! Ball creativity and innovative service with the button to be crushed for the service and button for the account. "Read the reviews so gave this local restaurant a try last night. We were not disappointed. All locals Brilliant atmosphere service and food. Like the revues said we were delighted with complimentary house starters just like a first or primi course. Really helpful waiters who assisted with their English translation of local foods. We selected the premi local taster dishes seafood and vegetables. Big soccer game was on TV between Napoli and Man City so atmosphere was buzzing. Think we were only people going fir Manchester City Thank you to all your staff. Very professional restaurant with excellent value."

"I had a great experience here, nice venue, friendly courteous staff and a good menu with daily specials. The pasta course was fantastic, full of flavour and seasonal goodness. The steak was cooked to perfection, however serving on a slate cause meat juice to continuously drip on the table cloth. My wife’s dish was something a little out of her comfort zone, presentation was amazing but she couldn’t get past the crudo ‘raw’ elements so left some. Not the restaurant’s fault but I’m glad she tried it. Good selection of wines. A little out of the town centre but still a very easy walk back onto the main pedestrian street for pre or post dinner drinks."

"Era da tempo che volevo provare questo posto e finalmente ho avuto l'occasione. Il ristorante si trova in una zona centrale e generalmente poco affollata e dispone di tavoli all'aperto e al chiuso. Lo stile è quello di uno street food di pesce, minimal ma sicuramente accogliente. Si consiglia la prenotazione, sopratutto nel fine settimana. Il locale offre due tipologie di menù: uno invernale, con piatti di pesce che spaziano tra i classici a novità molto interessanti, e l'altro invece con cibi e piatti di sushi. Devo dire che complessivamente è stata un'ottima esperienza: la mia scelta è ricaduta sulla frittura di baccalà, tartar di gambero rosso e gambero in crosta di pistacchio accompagnato da verdure pastellate, accompagnando il tutto con un ottimo Pecorino abruzzese. Il baccalà fritto pastellato era ottimo, molto saporito e friabile. La tartar di gambero rosso anche non male ma il gambero era la fine del mondo, un piatto straordinario. Il servizio è stato davvero ottimo e soprattutto veloce. Per quanto invece concerne il conto, secondo me è in linea con quello che abbiamo mangiato, ne poco ne tanto, giusto. Unica noticina negativa per il ristorante, i tavoli interni sono un po' piccoli per contenere più portate/piatti, ne servirebbero di più grandi. Ci tornerò sicuramente al più presto!"

"La Vela D’oro è stata una piacevole scoperta per la nostra piccola vacanza in Puglia . Inizialmente ho prenotato grazie alle recensioni positive di Tripadvisor e perché conteneva alternative per celiaci .Il menù che offrono è ampia di scelta , tra pizza , pesce e tanto altro . Noi abbiamo ordinato pizze con impasto alla soia DAVVERO SUPER BUONA , porzione di patatine e un gnocchetto al pomodoro per il bambino (che ha apprezzato mangiandoli quasi tutti acqua ,Coca-Cola e Due caffè . La prossima volta che torneremo in vacanza sicuramente torneremo per una cenetta .Il personale gentilissimo ! Anche se la ragazza che ci ha preso l’ordine è stata poco accogliente … come se fosse scocciata . Ci siamo sentiti un po’ a disagio .Un sorriso tra un ordine e l’altro renderebbe la serata più leggera sia a lei che ai clienti che scelgono la Vela D’oro ."
