Tasty hot breakfasts and hot breakfast rolls with tea and coffee all served by pleasant staff although overworked.We had a laugh and a good meal.A brekkie with tea for under £6.

Fantastic little Scottish breakfast. They had the best haggis we have tried. Their scones were lovely with plenty of cream. They were not the fastest, but their staff was lovely to chat with.

Corries was a great place to eat, but it closed and has now reopened. It is now called MIVA, the food is excellent, the staff are helpful and attentive without being pushy. I would recommend it. View menu

This cozy restaurant is a great place to escape the cold and rain. The menu offers a good selection of dishes, but the service was a bit slow because the staff seemed preoccupied with what was happening in the kitchen.

There were four of us who are vegetarians, and the restaurant was able to accommodate all of our requests. We stopped in for a quick brunch and really enjoyed dining at a local place, which enhanced our overall experience in Scotland.

Outstanding service, fantastic quality, delicious homemade steak pie, huge baked potatoes and delightful homebaking. Refreshing to eat lovely food in a very tourist orientated location with reasonable prices and staff who couldn't be more pleasant or helpful. View menu

Wow found this lovely friendly place to eat , we had breakfast, lunch and dinner here over a week , best day was Wednesday for breakfast when 4 locals came in we had such a laugh with them they have been going there for 20 years , that tells you something about a place Morag too great fun with beautiful Scottish people, made our holiday special, food was delicious,, going back next year for sure Thankyou to you all from the Fisher Howe family.

My partner and I took our dog for a walk in the park and were looking for something to eat. We decided to skip the fish and chip shop and instead got sandwiches, rolls, and drinks to go from Corries. While I waited outside with our dog, my partner went inside and said that the venue, although small, was very pleasant and the staff were all lovely and friendly. The sandwiches were delicious and fresh, served with salad. We had the option to add chips, but we both opted for just the sandwiches as a light snack on the go. I have been going to Corries for many years now and have never had any cause to complain, however after today I doubt very much whether I will be back. My wife and I arrived at approx. 13,00 today for a spot of lunch, at this point there were only two tables with anyone sitting at them and one party leaving. We sat at a table and waited as the three girls on duty did everything other that approach us. One of them even started cleaning the children's high chairs although there hadn't been any children using them.
