"We had asked a couple of ladies in Plouguerneau where was the best place to eat and after far more driving than we had thought (we took a turn we shouldn't have done) we finally found the place. We had been told to drive as far as we could without getting our wheels wet! It is situated right against a beach, overlooking L'ile de vierge and in better, warmer weather would have been a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the view. We chose to sit on the covered terrace and, despite arriving earlier than most of the clientele were welcomed warmly and given plenty of time to choose from the quite extensive menu. The waiter could speak English and the menu is in French with translations underneath each dish. They serve local beers which are well worth a look - well, you're in Brittany, it would be rude not to! The meal came to a very reasonable 38.50€ for two omelettes with salad and frites (very good), plus two sweet crepes (delicious), a beer and a big bottle of sparkling water, a result, I'd say!"

Good location, food was good and reasonably priced, Whole thing somewhat spoilt by a waiter who didn't really seem that interested and got our order wrong.

A very nice welcome, efficient service and a wide ranging menu. The food is fresh and very tasty, food size portions, moderately priced. The view from this large restaurant is splendid, straight across the sea, rocky outcrops and headlands.

This Creperie is a great. The crepes are great. I had both the veg varieties and it was good and then had the local organic strawberry caramelised crepe. FANTASTIC! The evening came to an end with the beautiful sunset over the ocean and Irish coffee. The place is great for kids as it has a play area. Reservations are a must on a sunny day.

The place is very nice! If you go there for dinner, just go before sunset. it is just magical to sit in front the beach and see the beauty of nature. Excellent food! Very good and nice staff. They have a room for kids to play which can be very handy when you have kids. There is a terrace too! I have been 2 or 3 times, the place and the food makes you come back and unforgettable!

We are two Australians travelling for six months doing home exchanges and were spending two weeks in Plouguerneau. The home was only two kilometres from Creperie La Route so we used to walk or ride the bikes there. The weekday lunch time special was so good that we went a few times. Three courses for 10 Euros. You can also order off the menu if you want something different but we found the choice on the specials satisfied us every time.

My aunt Mimi is such a good cook that we rarely eat out when we are in Brittany. We were in Plouguerneau to pick up oysters for my cousin at a place next door to the creperie. Aunt Mimi had eaten here before and she was very impressed. We were not disappointed in any way. The food was imaginative, but made with the most delicious local ingredients. My aunt and my wife both had a sweet crepe that formed a bowl that held a chicken salad and I had a savoy crepe with four cheeses and a subtle, deliciouious tomato sauce that complimented the crepe perfectly.

What a fantastic place ! Not only we have the view on the sea, but the galettes and crepes are delicious and they offer some original choice : my husband got a chicken curry one and he loved it !We really appreciated the fact they don't only serve galettes and crepes but have much more choice. I had a salad with blini and cheese, bacon and it was very good. The cafe gourmand was as well ):For the kids: a 8.50 euros menu including a meal, a dessert, a drink and a surprise ! With many choices. And. A soft play area For the kids to play !! They loved it !I'd like to mention that the staff was great and was very happy to help us planning the rest of our day, feeling proud of their region.Thanks...

"So here we are, cycle touring through Brittany. It's tiring, we're scruffy and a bit smelly, but having fun. It's our fifteenth wedding anniversary so we look around for a restaurant. There's not a huge choice where we're staying but there's an interesting place at the end of the road, near the beach. The menu looks pretty good. So we give it a go. WOW WOW WOW!!! Lucky we went early! We turned up when it opened at 7 and I think the host Fred (a Gerard Butler look alike) took pity on us and seated us despite having a full list of reservations for later on. Between our broken French and Fred's rather good English, we managed to order and he talked us into rather a splendid Bordeaux rose. The set menu for 19 euro looked interesting. From this menu, two of us ordered soup de pecheur as a starter, and it was excellent. My husband had a smoked salmon starter with delicious morsels of different sauces. It was delightfully presented. It is unfortunate that, by this point in our trip, i had broken my iphone so couldn't take any photos. My daughter had a galette with potato and cheese which she reported was delicious. A delightful amusee bouche of tomato juice arrived before our main courses. My husband and I had the Marmite and our friend had a chicken in a cream sauce. These were all excellent and in hearty portions. By the time the main courses showed up, the place was heaving. My husband had one of the best creme brulees he's every had (second only to one he had in 2003 which has lived long in the memory). I also ordered creme brulee but my daughter scoffed the lot. Meanwhile our friend had a magnificent chocolate mousse. The service was great from Fred and his team who were very accommodating of our bad French. This really is one of the best meals I've ever had, and I like to think I have pretty high standards. On a perfect evening, the ambience was super, the staff were lovely and the food and wine were outstanding. I might actually come back to Brittany just to eat in this restaurant: it really was that good. Just go here."
