"I have often popped in to the Crescent, Seaton Deleval for a £2.50 scoop of renowned ice cream. However now I have discovered much better.I find the Crescent ice cream to taste more of ice than cream whereas the more superior Di Meo’s tastes of...more cream than ice. Di Meo’s ironically is also known as: ‘Deleval Ices’ BUT is in Whitley Bay their ice cream is truly like you are licking chilled pure cream. If you find yourself at the Crescent I would urge you to drive the few miles to Di Meo’s on the seafront at Whitley Bay (close to Spanish City dome). You decide, try it once it will be well worth the trip. I also have to agree with other comments about the customer service. The service you get is as warm as the ICE cream they serve."

The best vanilla ice cream I've ever had. I've been going since I was a little kid. They also do a dairy free ice cream made with rice milk which is incredible.

Always worth popping in for their amazing ice creams. They have different flavours at different times so it is always interesting. Even their vanilla is outstanding. Would seriously recommend this place to anyone.

Crescent cafe in Seaton Delaval serves the best ice cream in the north east. We go there after we have had a good walk with the dogs on the beach. We have coffee's and the dogs have vanilla ice cream (after we taste them first)....Delightful cafe friendly staff fabulous food, definitely canine approved. View menu

parking lot very economical. small ramp that leads to loading. newly renovated with seating area. take ice and drink away, eat them with sunflowers and cakes. I'm sure they're making hot meals. menu varies. Sunday afternoons served but uncertain how late they are finished. they have different ice creams every day. they have sweets for sale. a visit

I love this place for Ice-cream. A friends recommendation sent us up here a few years ago and we visit as often as we can, we only live approx 20Miles away so not too far. A nice sunny day and the queue is out the...door! Service is always with a smile. Can definitely recommend the Cherry Flavour and the Pineapple Flavour, also have started doing a koppaberg sorbet which according to my partner is quite amazing!

I was visiting a friend locally and she knows I am an ice-cream-aholic so she suggested stopping here. I found the salted caramel and cookies cream flavours to be really good. But dont take my word for it. There is loads of construction work...outside currently (see photo) and you cant even see the front of the shop. But when we arrived and left there was a queue right out of the door. The locals clearly know what is good for them! View menu

my man now and I came here in a week-old age 26 when we were young and polite. we have moved away, but at the weekend returned to the northeast and were glad that the place was still here (in the middle of a sanation.) the ice is still as good as I remember (first taste of this spoon tastes like evaporated milk. so creamy.) they have introduced new aromen and a milk-free version, but I still prefer the old vanilla the best. always waits out of the door, so this should be a note of how good it is.

this facility has been here for many years, a family operation. we are living in the north-north-Mordland against today. they cannot miss the venue. as always the ice is made to house and very special. we find the mr whippy art eis is fat and not beautiful. the ice in this facility is what I met in my child hood. they think there's an envelope in the resturant, as we've been there for a while. the continuous queen from the door was obvious how the product tastes. we sat in a few tubes with flakes little charge when they sit in. we were there about half an hour. keep that product so they have a winner.
