The service at this restaurant is exceptional, and the food is also fantastic. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend trying the fresh fish - it is cooked perfectly and as fresh as can be.

Food was excellent home cooked and very tasty. Staff were very helpful from the moment we walked in to the minute we walked out cannot praise the place enough we have already booked to go again next week taking my family for a triple birthday celebration meal

We were looking for somewhere to eat not too far away as the traffic was awful, we pulled into here and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly there were lots of choices on the menu and the food was very good and reasonably priced. I popped in yesterday and had another quick meal on my way to a meeting. The atmosphere is excellent, the staff are exceptionally friendly, and the food is really good. My scampi and chips was an enormous meal, and really, really tasty. It’s not fine dining, but at the price, it’s excellent value! Well done Cross Keys, you never disappoint!

I took my parents here for lunch as they have eaten here previously, we had lovely home cooked style pub food, highly recommended. I had a small portion of steak pie and chips and peas and my mother had a small fish and chips. The fish was white and fresh and a good size for a small portion. My father had the fish platter which could of easily fed two people. Great service from friendly staff a good choice for pub food.

4 of us went for Sunday Lunch. It was our first visit here and we wasn’t disappointed. The food was superb, very tasty, homemade Yorkshire puddings, plenty of meat, variety of veg and thick tasty gravy. The portions size was plentiful and service good. When we first arrived we were surprised how busy it was, but after sampling the food we realised it’s popularity was due to the high quality food being served at reasonable prices.
