Visited for my daughter's birthday. The place was almost empty but it didn't put us off. Great menu and the burgers are awesome, so tasty. Staff were friendly and there's a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

I went to this restaurant to watch a game of football and the atmosphere was fantastic. It was lively and friendly. The burger was outstanding and the beer was perfect. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It's a unique spot compared to other bars in Hull and a hidden gem that should be tried out.

I stopped by for a burger and a pint for just £7 during their World Cup special. The food was delicious, and the bar staff were incredibly friendly. The atmosphere of the bar has an international vibe to it. They had the World Cup games playing on a big projector screen with great coverage. I would definitely recommend this place!

We came here during the day to watch the football on a weekend, all I can say is that the staff were so friendly! We ordered cocktails and beer which was all top notch, we ordered food which was also great, and my partner then had to order more food later on it was that good! All around great vibes, this place made me happy. Oh and it looks great too!

Attended the car show at the minster, was looking around and we saw this place. Decided to pop in for a drink and something to eat. Food was delicious, by far the best burger ive ever had!!! Really nice chilled out vibe in here world cup on in the back ground happy days....the guy who served was really good making sure everything was ok. Lovely gem of a place. Will deffo be returning very soon

Found this place randomly after searching for somewhere that does a good vegetarian meal. Although they only served one veggie burger, it was amazing! We ordered five burgers overall and we all really enjoyed it. None of us could finish the burger and fries. The price was amazing for what you get. Honestly could not recommend coming here more. If you're in the area it's definitely worth visiting

Heard about this place and that it was good amd after kebedge left head of steam I needed somewhere new in the old town area. Glad I found out about this I had the real Gadgie burger, I've never had a Gadgie but heard of them. It was great and I think the meat was a better quality than kerb edge, not greasy but juicy and the burger sauce really strong amd puchy and the parties were really well seasoned, the maple bacon thick of good quality crispy and not fatty. All of the above combined it just blew me away

This is our 3rd trip for food here. My partner is a massive burger fan so when I saw it was food by Gadgie burger I was keen to try. Neither of us had ever eaten Gadgie burger before. I'm vegetarian so presumed that what was offered for me would be the old standard bean burger. How wrong I was. My food was amazing a combination of cheese, sauted mushrooms, caramelised onions, hash browns and more. loved it. My boyfriend got the cow and chicken burger (not sure I've got the name right) it was huge! Burger moist and seasoned to perfection with a buttermilk crispy chicken breast. Both served on brioche buns. We shared curly fries which were more than enough for us both. Really generous portion....

After the Head of Steam nearby stopped selling Kerb Edge burgers, I was unsure where to find a good burger. I was delighted when we stumbled upon this restaurant. It was quiet, just after work on a Friday night, and we perused the menu. I had heard about their “Gadgie Burgers” and decided to give them a try. We opted for a gadgie burger deal which included a burger, fries, and a beer for only £7, a much better deal than the nearby establishment's £17 for a burger and a pint! The food was fantastic - the burger was juicy, packed with bacon and cheese, and the sauce was delicious. The fresh lettuce, onion, and tomato added to the flavor.
