"being well is a concept that goes beyond eating well or drinking well at the crooked garlands I was really good. I bought myself an hour of delicious and carefree pleasure, eating excellently, drinking excellently, sitting in a relaxing environment. the staff is courteous and available at the bar, the room is spacious and spacious and also bizarre because of the room carved in the rock. Before leaving, I bought myself a nice piece of homemade cheese, not easy to find so well, and then I regret not taking more. I also recommend chestnuts."

Great local food, very light and well presented. Makes for a great experience. The wine selection is also great and affordable and the tourist market offers gems from the local food selection that everybody should try.

We were looking for someplace to eat on our way back to Lake Como and decided to take a chance. I had the meat sampler two different types of sausage (very good) ribs (good) steak (good) pork, lamb, and venison. Mixed grilled vegetable and potatoes. Along with a great atmosphere. View menu

Been here before but I thougth I leave another review as we had excellent food again. Sciatt (local fries cheese balls), pizzocheri, risotto, meat and dessert all very good. Quick and friendly service. As the sun was shining we sat outside which makes for an even better experience. Will visit again.

an unexpected place, of passage is true, but by now it is mandatory to stop, only to eat the best skiätts in the world! the very polite and friendly staff will accompany you inside the grotto to discover the fascinating cellars. okkio to cover you well, the cool of the mountain behind you enters with prepotence inside giving you a crazy cool! excellent bresaola and cheese.

"My daughter and I visited this ancient mountain village, Soglio, on a hot summer day in August. (I had visited this lovely place several times before, but in the month of June, and eaten at the same restaurant). On this day,we ate under a vine-covered arbour against the backcloth of the Bregell Mountains andoverlooking the Bregaglia Valley. My daughter chose "Spaghett Tomaten" (13.50 Chf.) and, as usual, I was tempted by Bratwurst Roesti (18. 00 Chf) we each had huge salad costing only 9.50 Chf - so not an expensive meal, at such a lovely place,on such a day! As generally found, the waitresses were pleasant and helpful, the food was good and helpings generous. (The Italian influence was present in the particularly tasty spaghetti, or so I understand). We drank only water with the mealfollowed by the predictable cappuccino but were too full to contemplate having a dessert. The toilets, which, at this "Albergo" are inside the main building and downstairs, are quite spacious and clean. We dropped by the Tourist Information office where there were many leaflets providing information on Soglio and the surrounding area and also an interesting display of local handiwork, which was for sale, i.e. woodwork, pottery, stonework, sewing and knitwear. Later, on another trip, we were informed by a Swiss lady that Soglio is a particularlyrevered spot and its survival is supported by the Swiss government. With its very narrow alley-ways and overhanging upper storeys Soglio inspired the imagination to compare it with Tudor England. The communal washing "well" was also a point of interest, but I think is rarely used now.Everywhere flowers bedecked the houses and buildings - this is truly a lovely spotand if one has time, a short hike on the mountainside can, in June, at least, bring one to fields of flowers with a visiting butterflies and the occasional basking lizard."
