Returning after 20yrs new everything! The food was superb, the room as expected. Warm, comfortable and clean. Best bit the food!

Great hosts, looked after 8 of us on the nc500 trip,,lovely quaint country pub with great food, rooms and a huge selection of drinks, would certainly stay again :

Fantastic lunch. Service amazing, very friendly staff. All food was amazing, fresh, tasty, well cooked and presented. Cajun chicken burger was the best I have had!

Terrific bar with great welcoming atmosphere. Very busy bar with great friendly service. Good food and large portions. The difference in the crown and Anchor under new ownership is stratospheric.

The restaurant is very comfortable and cozy, with smooth service that never feels rushed. The food quality is excellent, I would give it a 10/10. Make sure to try the peppersauce, you won't be disappointed. This place has quickly become one of our go-to spots for dining out.

I can’t stress what an amazing transformation Simon and Catrina have done with this place! The food was outstanding and reasonable priced, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming and a special mention to our waitress roze who was very good and attentive! The...place was clean and tidy and the atmosphere was really good! Great pub for food beer and pool with family and friends!

and 2 children had the best experience. the staff was so friendly and helpful and eating was amazing. the love for detail on the food plates was excellent and the 2 children loved the Christmas activity sheets. the Christmas man was great with the children. went round about the conversation and read a story, and the whole experience was so relaxed. will go back defo and would highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here regularly now for four years, and have really enjoyed the welcome from staff and their helpfulness in always trying to accommodate us when we book meals or a room. This is a family run business and the hours of business are...clear. They provide god value for money at a location that is superb Findhorn Bay directly outside, the possibility of seeing the Aurora Borealis, and sea trips on the doorstep. Don’t come here expecting London style hotels. This is Scottish hospitality and culture. I’ll come here for many years to come.

The Crown and Anchor is a place where I've stayed and eaten on several occasions whilst in the Findhorn and Forres area visiting friends and exploring the region, and I can always count on a great meal, refreshing beverages, and a peaceful sleep in their...delightful Scottish Inn after a full day of adventure and travel. The fresh local seafood is a real treat, and the wide variety of Scottish and other spirits, along with a nice selection of local, and broader scale brews, is a real treat! I highly recommend this splendid establishment, and look forward to returning there when next I'm in the area!
