Great atmosphere, tasty food with lots of local tips. Do not miss to taste the fish from the local glacier lakes.

Had a great lunch at Cubus. beautiful place that's a little hard to find. Authentic Bavarian food in a very modern setting.

They don’t have too many vegan things. I had breakfast there but it was quite expensive even though the portion was really big. Taste wise ok.

Food was good and the view is of course amazing. However, the service today was really not quick. Maybe, understaffed but this should not be customers’ problem.

Lovely food. Great views. Friendly staff. Only 1 lift up at night so if your in a big party as I was with 60 people. It took a while to get everyone up but this shouldn't put you off its just worth noting.

At the top of the Ars-Electronica building there is a very pleasant restaurant with the best view on Linz by night. The roof terrace has stylish decorations, the giant lamps are great, and is ideal for a Summer dinner. The menu is international with a variety of dishes including salads, sandwiches or burgers. There is only one classical Austrian dish, frittatensuppe (meat soup with thinly sliced salty pancakes), which I liked a lot and recommend. On the negative side: the service was slow and some dishes were mixed up. Overall it was a good experience, the food was tasty and the night panorama was amazing.

My friend and I wanted to eat there in order ton enjoy the great sight on Linz and the Danub. So we ate outside on the upper floor, and we had the pleasant surprise to have a band playing during our dinner. We ordered vegetarian plates, I received mine and... my friend didn't received hers. We apparently had some troubles trying to communicate and get our wishes understood in English... So we waited like a hole hour to get my friend's plate, but the servers were nice and offered us our bieers. Otherwise our vegetarian food was really delicious and our chocolate dessert was really good too. So, we recommend it !

The food was absolutely great, and I would recommend them it to anyone who wants to have a chilled night. On the negative side: staff was really bad in my opinion for way to many reasons. For example, they moved us a few times before giving us a table (that we had reserved) and then they removed one of our tables for another group who never used it. Also the service was really slow since it took them 15 minutes to bring us our drinks. Furthermore, they always dropped stuff while moving the tables which was annoying. Lastly when we had ordered, the waiter dropped my phone out of the blue when she was taking away the menu.

As I'm nothing but a huge fan of the Are Electronica, anything related to its center or programs is having a specific meaning and value for me. But in this case I hope I can be objective as well as this restaurant is only located at its top and run by unrelated service providers. I don't know how but for years now the Cubus is successful in being appropriate counterpart of the AE centre. It became gradually its organic element and, as such, it offers as good food as our minds, attitudes and spirits are blown away by the AE's content.
