"2 adults/2 kids, we ate here on two occasions, food was excellent, probably the best we had in our two week stay in the area. Excellent quality, pizzeria also attached. No English menu is available and the staff don't speak English generally so bring a translator, wi-fi is available in the restaurant. TIP: Menu is available on their website so you could decode in advance. [hidden link] Food is typical Tuscan, can particularly recommend the beef and shellfish starters. At the weekend we were lucky to get a table, would recommend booking in advance."

"We spent one week during New Year Eve at Buggiano, and went to VinVino almost everyday.. even twice a day ! The owner (Manuel was so great, smiling, helpfull, passionated and flexible ! He even gave us lots of advice for our visiting program in Toscana. The food was also very tasty : pasta, soups, cheese plate, aperitivo, wine.. for correct price. Note that most of the products are local, and we had great time while being vegetarian : In short : try it !"

"Nice venue. Small kitchen with too many outdoor tables so unable to provide quality at reasonable speed. Long wait with kids (over 1h gap between starter and main starter was ok, main was wrongly delivered, ordered porcini and got served pioppini. The beef tartare did not look good and was sent back. the chef came to explain with a patronising approach something that was difficult to explain, the meat wasn’t just right. I took the chance to suggest what to improve : did not appear to take it onboard. Not expecting bottura or blumenthal : but not even such a underwhelming experience. I won’t go back."

"we visited the restaurant for the day of Christmas. our choice is relapsed on them as they are the only ones who propose an à la carte menu that has the choice of sea and land that can satisfy all the goats. a quick judgment on the premises: seen from the outside, the restaurant is a bit valid with a hedge covering the entrance, but can be attributed to its location on a main road of the Buggianese bridge. inside the style is quite modern, with some flaws though: the chairs are in a more ancient style than the rest and seated a lot, they are quite uncomfortable, since the pillow they own is very low; the bathroom is not very nice in my opinion because it has a little worn and sanitary fixtures a little old. but let's go to the culinary proposal. I could taste a tris of marine appetizers, a salmon and a zucchini, the green pepper fillet and a cheesecake with berries. the appetizer was quite good and rich and the oato fish seemed of good quality. the cutter was good and well balanced even if I preferred the zucchini a little softer. on the wire nothing to say: very tender and cooked meat very well and the “sughetto” was really exceptional. on the cheescake instead I found some defects: the bottom cookies were a little too many in the center and felt too much butter and the condition to the berries was a jam in which I think it felt too strawberry compared to the berries. here the restaurant deserves 3 stars as an evaluation, but the staff is really exceptional and helpful to meet the needs of the customer and treat it in the best way. I'll talk to you at home. said this, the restaurant “Position alusuale” is a good restaurant where you can eat both meat and fish, where staff makes you feel comfortable. recommended to spend a quiet evening."
