"Very wholesome, traditional Sardinian, experience. The best meal, and service we experienced on our two week trip. Genuine hospitality which seemed almost effortless by the staff. Food was unpretentious, simple in the best way possible, with the freshest ingredients. I don’t usually leave reviews (this is my first) , but I wanted to show my gratitude and support them. I highly recommend."

Nice place, good food. Prices might be a bit too high, but everything is highly recommended. Two times there and quality was great. Enjoy!

We liked excellent first dishes, especially fregular, watered by a good ice cream of the Loi winery and a seadas da capogiro. Careful and kind waiters. We'll be back soon

Fab food and service as usual! Run by same family for 34 years this lovely little restaurant is a must if you appreciate good food at good prices. Delicious! Suggest you book a table in advance as very popular with the locals which is a good sign. View menu

I eat in this restaurant twice whilst staying in Arbatax, The food was excellent, the service was attentive but not over the top, and was the type of service Id expect in a top hotel restaurant, prices were very good, for the quality of food, This restaurant was my favourite in Arbatax

"Very relaxed establishment on the residential edge of Porto Frailis. All very functional and unfussy, and its furniture and decor reflects that. It's actually positioned slightly at sub-street level; no windows, simply canvas flaps similar to those seen on the side of an army vehicle. Access is not entirely clear; it's off the street and round the side. Quality home-made bread arrived whilst we studied the quite varied QR coded menu. I'd already done my research via the pictorial version on the restaurant website so looked forward to steak medallions in a rich sweet cannonau sauce, with some grilled veg on the side. Not disappointed; done to perfection and enjoyed hugely. Mrs EPR selected a penne arrabiata and there were no complaints about the portion size. Probably a bit too al dente for her particular taste, but that's just a personal thing. However, when she asked for some parmesan cheese, she wasn't very impressed to get a fistful of appropriate sachets. For dessert, I tried my first sebadas; mini cheese-pies covered in honey so very sweet and sticky. Mrs EPR had the semi-freddo amaretto; basically, an ice cream but not an ice cream. The wine list here was a lot more reasonable than most other local places so no problem in finding a decent Sardinian red to complement the meal. Not surprisingly, the staff were all laid-back and very friendly. A place that's well worth seeking out."
