"Pub has some very interesting objects linked to the famous dambusters squadron, on display and dotted all round the pub. There was a great atmosphere there when we visited as it was their real ale night with live music in their outdoor courtyard. Nice selection of food available, beautifully cooked and presented. Staff were extremely busy but still managed to look after us without delay. I would certainly recommend that you book in advance to save potential disappointment."

what an amazing place. my dad, who is here from New Zealand, he has always visited, the pub farmer has got him a tour and explains the history of everything. he made the experience even more special when it was already for him. many thanks.

Had Sunday lunch there on Nov 20/11/22. The food was plentiful, delicious and not too expensive. The service was quick, efficient and very warmly welcoming. The pub is quite big with a huge amount of memorabilia relating to the RAF WW2 and the pubs namesake. Will be going again!
