"The restaurant is situated in a small valley a bit outisde of Marburg and sitting outside or at one of the windows it offers a very nice view to this valley. Alos it is very quiet and peaceful. The menu is mainly German dishes with some mediterran (mostly italian) elements added and the also offer a lot of game. The decoration inside is a bit old fahioned but not too dark. The staff is friendly and efficcient and very knowledgeable about the menu and willing to crack a joke or two if they feel you are inclined to it. The food is all fresh and well prepared, nothing on the fancy side, it is good German food so you will be well fed after leaving (they offer a lot of items as half portions) and gives a very good impression of how you can have a typical dinner in Germany. You get some bread and some spreads after you order so the (even in a full restaurant) relatively short wait time is bridged. They do cater a lot for people who are on business trips and stay in the hotel that makes for a bit too high prices to give this restaurant 5 stars but all in all a very good opportunity to get good food."

The restaurant is part of the hotel, but doesn’t feel like a hotel restaurant at all. Outside seating in a very pleasant atmosphere, good food and a very welcoming staff

The perfect place if you want to stop for a coffee break after a nice walk thru the Erlenbruch, or after a visit to the Marburger Kletterwald. You can sit outside in the sun, enjoying the green natural ambient

Dammuhle sits on the edge of a forest and park, oriented towards west, so evening sitting outside is really nice. The menu is reasonable, not too much, but still a good choice. Very friendly staff. For given prices you might expect a bit more, also the restaurant is a bit too rustic here and there, but still a very solid choice. View menu

We actually stayed here for four nights with our three Children on a recent visit to Marburg. We had the Heinrich Suite which was more than spacious with three bedrooms. The restaurant on-site is simply excellent. No need to eat anywhere else! But you do need to book, as very popular. The playground was an added bonus, and our children loved the flying fox. Breakfast was very good. Would highly recommend as both accommodation and as a restaurant.

This review is for the Kletterwald Marburg, next to the hotel establishment.Took the nephews and spent a good half day trying out the ropes courses at Kletterwald. The park opened about 3 years ago and have been receiving constant visitors esp. on the weekends. There are varying level of activities for all ages from young kids to adults with increasing levels of difficulties. Warning, if you are afraid of heights, these activities are not for you.

A few minutes outside Marburg, you can find a wonderful site to relax. If weather allows, you sit outside in a large garden restaurant, overlook a tranquil valley surrounded by woodlands. If you are lucky you can watch ho-air ballons. The service is very attentive and fast, the food is great. Dammuehle has a newly renovated hotel to stay overnight (I have no experience with it). Dammuehle is very recommendable to close a hectic, hardworking day with a nice meal and a tasty beer. View menu

Set in the old buildings of a former water mill, the Dammuehle Hotel and Restaurant (Marburg/Wehrshausen) is a charming place for special occasions. Our friends took us to dine there, as they had been married in the hotel about ten months previously. The hotel is surrounded by woods with a stream and the original water mill. There is a large patio for events, weddings, and parties. Inside the mill is a small, but elegant restaurant. The walls are decorated with paintings and relics from the old mill. The food, presented with a haute cuisine flair, was absolutely divine but generous. We were seated in a room with four tables. There was another dining room with perhaps twelve tables. It would...

A social evening was held there as part of a conference. In advance I asked by mail if there was also a vegan offer, to which the answer came that it was no problem and the colleagues on site knew about it. In fact, however,...no one really knew on site and the vegan offer was limited to an already vegan soup for all and the side dishes of the fish and meat buffet: White rice and overcooked pasta with tomato sauce mind you for a participation fee of 60 €, as for everyone else. Upon request, we at least received a bowl of hummus (this one was very good, after all), which the chef pinched off extra and somewhat reluctantly from the next day 's breakfast buffet. For customers who have already p...
