Service was ok but that’s all. Don’t seem to care . Food was average at best. Chicken was very very dry. Sauces were ok but not the best. Lacked atmosphere

Enjoyed a meal here this week. Simple concept, good priced and tasty food. The lady running this place is awesome, works incredibly hard, multi tasking at its finest and with a smile.

Best Indian restaurant in the Yumbo area. It’s just outside the main shopping centre. The service is excellent, the food and prices are excellent. This is our favourite by far in Gran Canaria. Well worth a visit.

Very nice relaxed Indian restaurant, nice couple running it Food was very flavourful. The jalfrezi very spicy and tasty. We had medium spice and it was just right. Good selection of starters Good portion sizes, and value for Money Definitely one to try View menu

Service brilliant as usual, but the curries we both had that where different where both very watery mine was a mild one , but with no taste , and my hubby’s was a rogan josh with no spice , the rice was nice but we both left most of it , we love coming here , but think it’s time to find a new curry house

Unfortunately the only things that were authentic were the pappadoms and the garlic naan. We ordered a Chicken tikka masala and a chicken biriyani. Both were flavourless but the sauce was so sweet we couldn’t eat much of it. I read a few other reviews that were posted here stating similar but we thought we would give it a go. Now we know to trust the reviews!!

Nine of us visited for an early evening meal and were swiftly shown to a large table. Service was reasonable throughout as indeed were prices. The food offering was fine with a selection of dishes tried from shashlick to korma to bhuna to tandoori dishes. Everyone seemed to enjoy their choice. Overall a good experience. All washed down with wine which was reasonably priced. View menu

I have been here many time before. I always remember the peacock on the wall by the bar. I love the food not to hot and overwelming I always have the same Sheek kebabs lamd curry pilau rice and garlic nann with a bottle of red wine . I took my brother this year as my friend John could not come due to family issues . I have never felt bad afer going here . The same lady served us as before .

Really wanted to like this place but unfortunately it wasn't great. The rice and naan were fine and the mango lassi was nice. However, the sauces on the curries were weirdly sweet, which made the whole thing unenjoyable. On top of that, my partner was very ill shortly after his meat curry. We'd eaten the same things all day apart from that so it seems pretty likely it was the meat curry that caused it. Can't recommend.

"During our winter stay on the island of Gran Canaria we stayed four times in the bar restaurant Casa Antonio, located in Santa Lucia de Tirajana. In the village there are three other restaurants but, we always opted for Casa Antonio because it is the safest as unlike the others it has a good level of hygiene. The structure of the restaurant is characteristic as it is obtained from an old Canarian house. The interiors are decorated in a traditional but elegant way, the bathrooms are quite large and above all clean. It has a small terrace that unfortunately is not very enjoyable because it faces directly on the road and cars pass too close at high speed. The menu is rather trivial, you eat the same things you can eat in any other traditional restaurant on the island. The quality of the elements is certainly not excellent, the wine list is a bit poor with not exactly cheap prices. The Service, considering that all four times we have been to Casa Antonio the restaurant was half empty, was entrusted to a boy of about 40 years, kind but not overly nice and uncommunicative, his presence does not contribute to creating a relaxing atmosphere. In my opinion, given that the place is almost always empty and tendentially sad, it would be appropriate for the service to be entrusted to a more cheerful, dynamic, engaging person, probably a female figure would be more appropriate. Practically once the meal has been eaten, all that remains is to remain seated at the table in silence. It 's a real pity because the place is suitable for continuing the evening by drinking some spirits, for example, listening to good music and perhaps socializing with the other customers who are missing in this case. I rate the experience in Casa Antonio with two stars because, despite being the best restaurant in the town of Santa Lucia, it offers an extremely boring atmosphere."
