"we had dinner here and chose the gourmet menu before the time for courses. I regret that this was one of the worst meal we ate in France. the choice was very limited only meat or fish for the main course - with. no choice for starter or dessert. the amuse beech was a piece of tomato tea that looked out and tasted like a limp luke warm piece pizza. Zero leaves or other decorative garnishing only one plate on a small white plate. the starter was forgotten. my main course was some pieces about boiled pork brains with the unusual and unsuccessful accompaniment of carcinogens. the head of my wife was white fish, which was completely broken in a sea of white sose. no garnish or color, whatever - an unusually inconspicuous and inconspicuous dish. dessert was a piece of pure apple cake. several times the waitress and the chef came by to ask how everything was and we finally (common and tactful) confessed that the meal remained much to wish. this has not produced an apology, which was the reverse that the service from this point was clearly frosty until we left. the last nail in the sarg was the ambiente, the outer esszone was quite unkempt and a bit mucky all the more surprising it is when the generally very good feedback reviews are displayed by the website trip advisor. what a goodbye!"

always looking for the best corners to eat, and there we really found something fabulous, a magnificent setting, and a top service the chef and his wife gave us the impression of being home, the great and really nice people, we had the immense chance to stay until late, which allowed us to really exchange with them around a little drink, and we spent a big evening. It’s a long time for us to come back! I highly recommend this place! kelsey louis

with some local restaurants around beaumont de perigord closed, as the season calms, we have used tripadvisor to find a good restaurant in the environment. the restaurant auberge de peyssou was a wonderful foundation. we were very welcome, and chef Jean-Claude produced some. tasty dips ... a menu with a tasty wet of bark tomato, an excellent and intensively flavored fish soup, waking two possibilities. fry with cowards, and legs tied on salat, and finish a clafoutis. great service, great location and excellent value.

We have rediscovered this country hostel for Christmas lunch where we have received a particularly warm welcome! We feel like we're greeted with friends. with a Christmas decor full of originality and refinement. thanks to the greed and her husband, passionate chef for their warm welcome, for this excellent meal served in front of the fireplace. with exceptional dishes and wines of quality! (viol, foie gras, champagne and I pass.) a damage to the malotrus that planted them with a table of unrecommended people and who did not have the correction to warn that they would not come! ... finally, we had a good time not to forget

"Arriving in Beaumont early evening after a long drive on a very hot day, we were glad we had reserved a table at this little hotel's restaurant. Through the front entrance door, there is an interesting-looking bar area and then a comfortable dining room - but we were pleased to be shown to a table on the shady flower- filled terrace at the rear of the hotel. Aperitifs of good Kir soon arrived plus some freshly- baked olive bread then an amuse-bouche of a delicious cold carrot & cumin soup. We chose from the cheapest (€17) menu and were not at all disappointed with the food that was delivered; especially appreciated was J's supreme of guinea-fowl in a filo wrapping but everything was good. Our server (I guessed it was the lady of the house) was friendly and helpful and tolerant of my rudimentary French. She recommended a nice rose wine from nearby Bergerac, reasonably priced and perfect for the evening. Later in the week we returned for more of M. Denance's tasty food, this time choosing from the €25 menu. This was even better than our first visit, the olive bread this time also had tasty lardons inside and Madame remembered which wine we had chosen earlier in the week. The food gras "mi-cuit" was good, the dessert of parfait glacé absolutely delicious but the main course was the star. During several visits to Perigord, I have eaten Confit de canard on countless occasions - but none was better than the ones we both enjoyed here. This restaurant is highly recommended and we shall certainly be eating there on our next visit to this attractive village."
