"The three of us went on Sunday, and chose the Sunday Special menu: any starter; any main; any rice or nan; ice cream or tea/coffee. In addition we ordered a bottle of their Merlot and three poppadoms. So I was surprised to get a bill for I couldn't see how they got from to via just three poppadoms. When I queried it, they explained that the poppadoms came with chilllies and chutneys per person], to add And of the ice creams we were offered, ONLY the plain vanilla was included in the menu [this was nowhere made clear], and the chocolate ones we chose were added at full price. So plus for poppadoms plus for the ice creams gets us to They eventually, after a further phone call and haggling with the manager, offered a partial refund. I told them that they could keep my money; but NOT their reputation. A V O I D !!!"

Avoid! Ordered a takeaway at 7:10pm on a Saturday 8:50pm it finally arrives it was the complete wrong order!! Items missing. Incorrect curries. Attempted to call the restaurant at least 30 times over an hour period, phone lines were ‘engaged’ conveniently. First last time we will ever use them, was warned by others but wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. Cheers! Service: Take out

I collected a take away today and it was one of the nicest curries we've ever had. The Vegetable Rogon Josh was very dense with a strong delicious flavour. The sag paneer was again, dense and very tasty. Coconut rice and paswari naans were faultless. It was made very quickly, even on a Friday evening (20mins). The staff were polite. I am struggling to understand why there are some negative reviews for this restaurant as the food is so good. I felt so strongly that I had to write this review. Some seem to have criticised the delivery time, but this doesn't fairly reflect on the food quality. Collecting the take away was very fast and easy (just park for free in the Waitrose car park opposite)...

"My wife and I ate here on a Sunday night, and were really impressed with what we found. It is a wine bar, which serves a reasonably extensive snack menu. Think of it like a French tapas kind of idea, with a number of small plates on offer to eat whilst sampling the many wines, rather than a traditional restaurant serving starters and mains. We ate the wild garlic pesto tartiflette, which was delicious, and also had a charcuterie board, with generous portions of iberico ham, parma ham and cooked ham, together with bread and chutney, which was equally delicious. The other plate we ordered was a prawn and avocado salad in a balsamic vinegar dressing. This too was really tasty and was a generous size. It being a wine bar, there are numerous wines on offer, but what we chose to do was the wine flight, where you each get three small glasses, each of a different wine. I chose the Bordeaux flight and my wife chose the Rioja flight. For about £15 each, we thought it was good value and enabled us to try six different wines for a reasonable price, all of which complemented the food perfectly. There are also both white and sparkling flights available, as well as a good wine list, most of which were very reasonably priced. The restaurant/bar itself is relatively small, and reminded me of a cosy ski lodge, with wood panels on the wall and nice bench seats. The atmosphere was very nice, and the service was excellent. All in all, it was a lovely evening and we really enjoyed our visit and would have no hesitation returning if we are ever in the area again."
