"We were visiting Bristol for a week and happened to walk past. Being Indian and a lover of Kerala cuisine, we decided to try it and it was a good thing we did. The food was authentic, the spices were made in-house and there was no skimping to accommodate tastes- sticking to traditional recipes. Please try the lamb fry! It was somethng we ordered time and again!"

Went at 3.30 pm on a working day. Quiet. Clean. Lots of fresh air. Great food, cheap. Had peanut papad fish curry and uppam. Excellent value View menu

Small, cozy, informal and friendly staff. A Vibrant eatery in Gloucester Road. A must try for authentic south Indian food lovers. Special recommendation for biryani, chicken 65 and Malabar fish fry.

The food was fine, the containers were not. I was given a bag of, what looked like, an explosion. Everything was ruined. I am hungry so am eating what I can, but honestly, you need better containers.

Wish I looked at the 1 star reviews and took them seriously. Friendly staff but as a restaurant, you need to up the standards! Nobody wants watery, tasteless curry and burned bhaji. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning and wish I could get a refund!

Update: we've had takeaways many times and always been good. Even the hamster likes a bit (he's old now, so gets treats in this case a piece of pakora). Great value for money. We had mushroom 65 and okra fries which were nice, then I had kerala fish. BF had masala dosa. Peswari naan were amazing. Only thing to be improved is lack of ventilation, smoky place.
