mainly had yakinori for the cursed, but it was always delicious! poke dishes are filled and there are so many toppings to choose. sushi and gyozas are beautiful, fresh and good.

Great Veg/Vegan Menu with lots of delicious vegan options and tasty vegan bubble teas, too! Really good service and close to the university. Favourites: vegan donburi, vegan ramen, vegan pumpkin katsu, vegan sushi, and vegan gyoza. They have stores in Birmingham Grand Central and one in Bristol on Park Street.

I ordered a super delicious yasai katsu curry absolutely delicious. but the process wasn't super smooth I ordered over the phone as it offered a 10% discount when I collected myself, but they didn't let me know when it was finished, so I just went by after the estimated time and asked if it was ready (and it was.) but still happy the delicious food more than for the wait.

yakinori sits on a section of the bristol road that is not known for its culinary excellence. it is student center; a stone throw from the university birmingham, where cheap beer and average Indian restaurants go hand-in-hand together, while pissed-up students cavort or do what pissed-up students do these days. I like this part of brum, because I can come with low expectations and not after home disappointed or broken. but eating good? No, that's a myth. or at least it was until yakinori arrived.
