Dolce Vita - Menu

Excellent fresh food, the salads were great. We had accompanied excellent fish dishes with very well seasoned potatoes. The staff smiles and friendly. Strongly recommended, although a bit far from the city centre.

Wir sind immer wieder Gast im Dolce Vita und finden es den besten "Italiener" auf dem Platz Bern! Feine italienische Küche, gepflegtes Ambiente, freundliches Personal, grosszügige Speisekarte, sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis! Immer wieder super!!

Visite pendant la période des vacances, peut-être une influence sur le service. Mais très bien reçu, bon service professionnel. Carte a été adaptée ce qui est une bonne chose. Les mets sont de qualité à des prix très attractifs. On ne peut que recommander cet établissement.

Obwohl im vorderen Teil reserviert, wurden wir im hinteren Teil platziert, welcher leider ein sehr grosser Raum ist, ohne grossen Charme. Dies Bestellung lief rasch ab und auch das Essen wurde sehr rasch geliefert. Geschmack und Preis stimmen, sonst hätten ich es schlechter bewertet.

Came across this plan randomly for dinner. We had insalata verde and we're impressed by how well they pull off the lemon dressing on this simple entrée. We had spaghetti del mare and pizza vesuvio. Both were splendid. Service was great too. Couldn't even compare to few restaurants we've been to in Rome, let alone Holland where we live. Would definitely come back.

Ohne Zweifel, der "Italiener" im Breitenrain Quartier. Richtig guter Service, tolle Atmosphäre (das Restaurant ist eigentlich immer gut besucht), gute Auswahl an italienischen Spezialitäten, erlesene Weinauswahl und die "Stang" ist stets frisch gezapft. Das Ganze Programm zu einen angemessenem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.Wenn man das Restaurant verlässt, hat man meist ein gutes Gefühl...

Die Bedienung ist recht freundlich. Der Salat ist ok. Die Pizza, die ich ohne scharfe Peperoni dafür mit Knoblauch bestellt habe, kommt mit viel scharfer Peperoni und sehr viel Zwiebelringen, dafür ohne Knoblauch. Schade. Der Kellner nimmt meine Reklamation kaum zur Kenntnis. Beim Bezahlen ist er nicht im Stande, jedem Gast eine separate Rechnung zu unterbreiten, nur eine Totelrechnung pro Tisch.

Wir zwei Freunde haben uns spontan für ein Italoessen entschieden und landeten dann im Dolce Vita. Trotz Nichtreservation haben wir noch einen Tisch im hinteren Saal bekommen. Auch dort füllte sich dieser nach und nach schnell. Die Entscheidung fiel auf Saltimbocca und Seezunge, allerdings ohne die dazu gehörenden Crevetten. Beides war gut, das Gemüse für meinen Geschmack zu wenig durch. Der Kaffee war typisch italienisch super fein. Preis Leistung in Ordnung.

We had Prosecco and Bruscheta as a entree and for the main dish I ordered the seafood plate (Grigliata mista di Pesce) with roasted Zuchinni as a side order of my choise instead of parsley potatoes and my husband had grilled Monkfish with polenta. It was so delicious and fresh. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly. Price very reasonable. No wonder the place is fully booked, we are lucky to get a table without reservation. Very recommended and if you are looking for authentic Italian food, this is the place to be.
