"My friend recently made me discover this restaurant located in a beautiful romantic and bucolic setting. We went there in the evening at the beginning of autumn. There was no big world in the room probably because it was one night of the week. I think there must be more attendance on the weekend. The decoration may seem outdated for some but I found that the place was charming. When we arrived, the fire was already in the fireplace. The service was discreet, efficient and fast. Nothing to say about the quality of the dishes. The menu offers classic cuisine with tasty and well presented dishes from the entrance to the dessert. After the meal, we made a small digestive walk along the banks of the Marne. The site is really nice, a little out of time. We feel like we're far from Capital."

Food was overall okay with a special merit for the melon soup and the French fries. the deserts are all homemade and most very tasty (except the truffle cake very ordinary) the profiteroles way better ! Service friendly and client attention oriented!

On a hot day it's a joy to dine here along the Marne. They serve a 3 course menu at 38€ including French classics. You won't be struck be originality but the food is delicious. We opted for a Crozes-Hermitages (35€) to pair with our lamb chops and beef. Very good. The place is a bit worn out. The service was perfect and friendly. I definitely recommend. View menu

The view of the marne, the chimney fire or the terrace even more pret of the water there is a choice. Entrance (terrine) correct, dish (canard store) correct, accompaniment: fries (limited door for two), dessert of the day very good. The bread is not of great quality. Wine was the right thing. Value for money: a fare that remains high-end for a quality service but which would deserve an effort to decrease.

Such a lovely place in winter, the fireplace gave a cosy atmosphere. It is a bit romantic too, but suits for business. In summer it must be great as well to dine by the river. The place looks better in real than on their website. The food was very nice, everything home made. The staff was very nice, but did not pay attention to my allergies while I had really insisted when I ordered and had to send my plate back.

we came late in the lunch hour after a stroll round the old parts of Creteil. From the look of the houses this is a fashionable district of outer Paris. There were just two other diners. We were greeted by a friendly dog and several cats patrolled the gardens. The two staff were friendly and attentive. We had the €35 menu. We started with asparagus, and I continued with veal's kidneys and my wife with skate. Despite there beng just two of us, the kitchen cooked perfectly whatever we chose. We thought this place was a real find and have added it to ourlist of good restaurants in Paris

"We visited Le Chateau des Iles for dinner on March 30, a drizzly, cool evening in Paris. Our hotel concierge made same-evening reservations for 8:30 pm on a Wednesday night and we took an Uber from our downtown hotel, an approximately 15 minute drive for about the same number on Euros. We arrived at the small dock in the park where a ferry boat continually shuttles guests across the lake to and from the restaurant. The ride is approximately one minute! Upon arrival at the restaurant across the lake, you walk through the lower floor bar and upstairs to the restaurant, a rustic wooden lodge. We were warmly greeted on the porch by a large goose who quacked a welcome and shook his tail feathers as we hurried into the warmth of the restaurant. Inside, the hostess seated us quickly and chatted with us about her recent trip to the U.S. and Savannah, one of our favorite cities. Our waiter had just returned from Miami and was eager to share. All servers were friendly and helpful. Our hostess spoke fluent English and was very helpful with explanations of menu items as needed. The menu consisted of several fresh fish dishes- cod, bream, sole and sea bass. In addition, there were steak dishes as well as chicken. When asked about other seafood, like shrimp or scallops, we were told that the "crispy" (fried) shrimp could be ordered as an appetizer or dinner item. Two of our party ordered the sea bass with black rice and one ordered "steak tartare raw cooked" meaning it was cooked to order rather than the usual raw and was served with a cone of fries. Both were delicious and we ate every morsel. The portions were just the right amount, not skimpy and not overwhelmingly large. For dessert, we ordered "profiteroles" or cream puffs with ice cream scoops. There were three of each and just the right amount for three of us to share and finish off a lovely evening. The restaurant was being enjoyed by couples as well as larger groups. Overall, a very mixed crowd of diners. There was no outdoor seating on this evening due to the weather but I am sure that it would be a lovely spot on a clear day or evening. There is a large terrace suitable for enjoying a before or after dinner drink and for soaking in the view of the lake and surrounding park setting. Our total for three entrees with a glass of wine and two beers was approximately 117 euros. We would highly recommend this lovely restaurant while in Paris."
