"We went for our grandsons 21st meal. The restaurant is nice and comfortable. The food was delicious, some of our party had starters, we had a variety of dishes including pizzas and pastas, all very very good and tasty. I had one of the chicken dishes, the sauce was soooo good, as were the lovely veg and potatoes . They also provided gluten free for our other grandson and gave him ice cream as he couldn't have the cake They kindly provided plates and a knife for the cake, which some restaurants don't. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. We live too far away to go regularly but will return when visiting again. Dietary restrictions: Provide gluten free when asked Parking: Large parking area right outside."

The food here is excellent and reasonably priced. However, the atmosphere tends to fade after 9 PM; it seems to be more of a family-friendly spot earlier in the evening. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4. View menu

This restaurant offers fabulous food and excellent service at reasonable prices. I dined in for dinner, and my total was around £20–30 per person. Both the food and service were outstanding, earning a perfect rating of 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was also lovely, making the experience even better. I highly recommend trying the garlic bread. Additionally, there is plenty of parking available, including a free parking lot.

The staff here a pretty amazing! They interact with the customers on a personal level like you've been mates for years. The fact that they serve amazing food as well makes it definitely worth a visit and many more return visits. Thank you so much for your hospitality on 4th November and for the candle lit profiteroles whilst singing happy birthday to myself and my twin sister which was a pleasant surprise and very much appreciated. All of you keep being you because you're ace!!!!

"As a child, my family used to travel up and down the length of England using North Western Coaches, stopping at various cities and cafeterias en route. I have the fondest memories of good cafes, good food, good service, and a sense of fulfilment, having visited the usual venues. Manchester Road Cafe is a very smart, clean, and healthy reminder of that kind of nostalgia, and when you go inside, there are plenty of tables and chairs that are comfortable, well laid out, clean and welcoming. When you look at the menu you are given a good selection of choices starting with two types of full English breakfast with either one or two items of each of the main ingredients, together with a range of meal variations/combinations, together with other meals normally associated with later in the day, all at excellent prices. There is a good number of staff members, both in the kitchen and serving/waiting on, which ensures quick, efficient, and very professional service, which minimizes the wait to receive the good quality produce. Everything is freshly made, there are good size portions, and there is flexibility, particularly in the breakfast at the time l was there. If you don't like a particular item, you can swap it for an extra one of the others that you have on your plate. For example, I don't like black puddings, so I had an extra fried egg in its place at no extra charge. Well done, Manchester Road Cafe. I also like a good mug of tea, and that's certainly what you get with your meal, together with 2 rounds of white or brown bread, toasted. There were beans, tomatoes, eggs, bacon, and sausages, which were gorgeous to enhance the eating experience. Full marks, great service, and seems to be doing exceptionally well growing in popularity. A distant family member of mine had a transport cafe for over 50 years, with his brothers and his father, and business is always good throughout the morning and the opening time here of 8 am and finishing time around 2 p.m is perfect both for the establishment and for the times that we are ready to eat. I'm sure you'll enjoy all that you have and have no hesitation in recommending it to you."
