We arrived at 7:00 PM and ended up leaving at 8:50 PM without ever receiving our starters. Unfortunately, it appeared that this was a common experience, as we were not the only ones who left hungry. It's a real shame because the setting was beautiful and the weather was stunning, but the service was truly disappointing. View menu

Beautiful location, the atmosphere is superb with live music and the river. Couple of points not so good.. Booked online and when we arrived no one had passed our booking on to the diary staff. Service was slow (obviously more bookings had been missed). The table wobbled and no amount of folded leaflets or movement would stop it. The waiter delivering food was in such a hurry he seemed to dump the food and run. No steak knife was given and we just felt we were a hindrance! A sad experience when we were hopeful for a wonderful evening!

Getting a drink and a menu felt like pulling teeth. After placing our food order, we waited 1.5 hours without even receiving a starter. When we inquired about our food, we were told it was "just" coming. After waiting two hours, we finally asked for the bill for our drinks. It took three requests to receive it, and we ended up paying £51 for two bottles of Prosecco with no food—definitely not the birthday treat I had envisioned. When settling the bill, the staff complained about other customers who hadn’t made reservations, but if they had a proper reservation system and had set up the tables in advance, this wouldn’t have been an issue. Booked a table for 6 adults for a family birthday meal, got to the restaurant and no table was prepared. After being stood for around 20 minutes we were greeted by a very arrogant waiter. We finally were shown a table right across the kitchen entrance, loud and busy. It took almost 30 minutes for someone to attend to our request to move to one of two vacant tables. It became clear that waiters only concentrate on guests who seemed to be regulars, and management had no grasp on what was happening in the restaurant.
