We went for a Saturday breakfast and we weren’t disappointed, it’s a lovely quaint cafe.

Good range of food, Really friendly helpful staff, a must for afternoon tea for that extra special treat.

A true traditional cafe/ tea room/ coffee shop. When I'm in Shaw I have a great cup of coffee at Donnelly's they produce a drink the equals the main high street coffee, first class brew and service.

Visited a few times whilst home for Christmas, the food we ate (Scrambled Egg on toast for Fella, Jacket potato for me on 1st visit, Soup of the day on 2nd visit and Full Breakfast for fella and toast for me on last visit) all portions were decently sized and went down a treat. View menu

Four of us ladies had a wonderful Christmas lunch today at Donnelley's. I am the only one with Celiac disease. The owner has a family member who also has Celiac, so they were knowledgeable about what I could and couldn't eat and understood the importance of avoiding cross-contamination. The atmosphere in the cafe was delightful, cozy, and inviting. The staff were attentive and kind. I would highly recommend this restaurant. They also offer a fantastic afternoon tea.

The food was prepared exactly as ordered, with the staff accommodating a last minute change from 3 to 4 people without any issue. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. There was plenty of food, as four out of four people couldn't finish their meals. We weren't rushed and the restaurant was lovely and clean, although the tables were a bit close together. The only issue was that there were 7 wasps that we had to deal with. Despite this, we will definitely be returning to this restaurant regularly.

Breakfast is served until mid-morning and afternoon tea can be pre-ordered 24 hours in advance. The food is always well-presented, freshly prepared, and served hot. There is a good selection of drinks available. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for catching up with friends. The staff are friendly and efficient. While the space inside may not be ideal for wheelchair users due to limited space and a large step at the front door, there is outdoor seating available on the pavement.
