"I had a terrible experience with the food at this restaurant. The pizza was disturbingly unappetizing, and when I mentioned it to the waitress, she insisted that it was supposed to taste that way! The bruschetta starter was just two small pieces of pizza dough—definitely not ciabatta—topped with a few cherry tomatoes and drenched in balsamic vinegar. I've never seen bruschetta like that before; it must have cost no more than 20p to prepare, yet it was priced at £7.50. The avocado salad was also very small and heavily marinated in balsamic vinegar. On the plus side, the staff were kind and understanding about the poor quality of our food, and they did significantly reduce our bill. Overall, I would rate the food a 1, the service a 4, and the atmosphere a 4."

Expensive for an average pizza. Don't waste your money. Pizza town and other take away pizza around Sudbury is way more better and cheaper. Food: 1

Do not order delivery unless you call in 3 hours before you want it. Alternatively pay £50 for two cold slightly congealed pizza. Feel so bad for the staff Service: Take out Price per person: £20–30

I wouldn't recommend this place. I waited 90 minutes for a delivery, even though I was told it would take an hour. It was difficult to cancel my order or get a refund. They clearly seem to be understaffed. Food: 1/5, Service: 1/5, Atmosphere: 1/5.

Clean, good atmosphere with friendly staff. There was wheelchair access, and a lift. The Toilets were clean and well appointed. Most importantly, the food, that was really tasty. I didn't think the portions would be large enough, but surprisingly they were. They were just the right size and everything was really yummy. That extra attention to the details/ingredients in the food made all the difference. We all said we would go back. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to get inside. There's a lift as toilets are upstairs. Good size, clean disabled toilet, with room to move about in it! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

"To the wonderful owner and staff at Strawberry Teapot, My story starts with a trip planned to this cafe with my mum for her birthday, and will hopefully help to reassure other wheelchair/powerchair reliant customers : Accessibility: The owner had a conversation with us to tell us about their accessibility (there is a step at the front of the store, but access to the outdoor seating behind the cafe without steps . I use a powerchair, which can't, unfortunately, be lifted up with the help of others, but other smaller wheelchairs will still be able to be lifted up past the step on the front door. Despite this powerchair hurdle, we sat outdoors, which was beautifully arranged with summer plants. Food Allergies/ Dietary requirements: My family is a mix of vegetarian, vegan, and meat eater people, which was no problem at all to the staff at the Strawberry Teapot! We had booked in for an afternoon tea and were served three separate food servings (a three tier cake stand per person , filled with sandwiches, cake, scones, and biscuits. These were delectable, and we were even allowed to take the cakes we didn't eat home with us (they were too good to leave behind! . Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful time and will not hesitate to book again. If I could, I would fetch fresh scones every weekend (they were THAT good . Thank you to all the staff there that helped to make the afternoon tea special, you are all wonderful people, and I have no doubt that you will make every other customer's experience just as wonderful. Couldn't recommend highly enough."
